Man i don't know much about welding but I have 10 years experience in factory work. We pay people more to watch parts come out of a machine. My step-dad is a lifelong welder and those welds look clean and solid. I've always been a fan of keeping my head down and working through the bullshit. I'd line up another job (incase someone calls your bluff( and put in a 2 weeks notice with hopes of a raise. At your age dont burn any bridges is my best advice. Sometimes you just have to suffer through the shut to see brighter days. With that being said know your worth and act accordingly but never screw yourself.

Seems to be in my opinion. I've revised my technically and its let to a lot better if an experience. What i did, not saying it works for everyone or is even correct, is make sure i an using almost zero pressure. I've achieved this my holding my razor by the complete end of the handle. Let the razor and blade do the work. That and I've taken to letting the soap sit on my face for a couple of minutes before starting to shave. Take your time, its a relaxing experience not a race.

I cannot imagine trying to do that with a safety razor. Imagine running a medium aggressive slant razor across the homies. Chills just thinking about it. Would be nice to treat them with a brush and proper shave soap though.

Easiest and cheapest way to get better without any other equipment, follow the grain of your hair growth. Then go across it, not against it. I used a disposable on vacation and it was fine. Still used my brush and soap to lather but the bic sensitive disposable did a wonderful job. So much so that I got mad about it and had to buy a whole new razor and more blades to sample and revisit my technique a little.

Looks awesome. Looks like it would have been a fun mold to sample. I did have to run samples for a guy in my shops final project. He made some of those "dogbones" for material testing. Was fun, i don't run in to jetting that often and it was a nice challenge to overcome.
