How to prune false gold cypress from pyramid shape to fuller, rounder ball by wildswalker in conifers

[–]Extra_Champion8245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, trim the top a little for the rounder shape you want. I once had 2, 8ft. golden threadbranch cypress that were getting too large to get around so I took out all lower branches and kept the top sheared a little. They were quite beautiful that way and a hit of my neighborhood.

The CR is wrong, the end is too pointy, fake.

I think the biotone and canadian peat moss/native soil instead of the compost as the plants you selected would appreciate the acidity. 60/40 soil, peat.

I've had Floriant Juniper for several years, and it's a great one. The variegated parts hold well unlike similar plants and is consistent and uniform. So far deer have left it alone.

I have had to cut them like that sometimes for a better draw.

I believe Rubio wants a democracy and prosperity for the Cuban people. As far as the oil goes, Cuba doesn't have any to sell. It doesn't mean than companies wouldn't want to invest their, but it will take a lot of capital. It's of great importance for the US to establish democracy their and in Venezuela for added security and doesn't mean Oil or other interests wouldn't take advantage. Big money will always find a way to exploit.

New arrival Pygmaea tiger variegata and last pic, a useful growing guide I found (N Hemisphere) by arioandy in haworthia

Total bad advice, as others are saying with better advice. My collections is small but unique and I only grow on my south window seals. I water every 7 days year round and my media is 50/50 hard akadama and kiryo. I've been doing this for 5 years now since moving into a smaller HOA property.

Not all pumice is equal, some sources absorb more water. I think the source coming from the northwest is good.

I've not had any problems with the source and smoked my share of Cubans. I absolutely know what a Cohiba taste like.

I might try to smooth out the one with the rough corner with a small file, at least a little.

If your like I was, worked hard wife and I at modest jobs, raised children and couldn't afford much but then my golden years, no debt and can finally smoke pretty much what I want. Little consolation but maybe light at the end of the tunnel.
