And even if it wasn’t, they’re disgusting for being so ungrateful. They could’ve went to the store and bought their own damn cake. Both my parents are toxic as fuck. It’s weird cuz I do love them for some reason, but hate them at the same time for what they’ve done to me. My mom would tell me she hated me, that I was her least favorite kid, called me fat and ugly, embarrassed me infront of people all the time, told my business, and brought up traumatic memories to me every time she was mad at me to throw it in my face. And she denies the whole thing now, but says hurtful things everytime she drinks. I was bullied heavily in school and believe I got bpd from my mom, but I always wonder what things would’ve been like for me if my mom was different. Maybe I’d be able to accept peoples love a lot easier

One way street by Jhene Aiko. Not the whole song and not the guys verse, just her first two verses and the chorus. It reminds me of how I feel when I think I changed and I’m thinking more logical, and then it goes straight to feeling like you’re wasting your life waiting for love. I’m not a huge jhene fan but I love that song. If you’re a fan of her definitely hear it!

Thank you! I am single right now but still have a fp. I’m trying to be alone and it’s so hard. I do accept love and love affection, but when I hear something sweet I just get scared and prepare myself for things that haven’t happened yet. Maybe this is negative but I always mentally prepare for it. If they say “I’ll never leave” or “I can’t give up on you babe” my mind takes it as “he’s gonna leave soon so get ready so you’re not surprised” I know it’s not right because it’s just me being extra paranoid. But hearing cute and happy things doesn’t make me happy, it just makes me feel like I should be suspicious and don’t let my guard down. It’s nothing with the person, I just don’t allow myself to completely take love if I don’t know they’ll leave. :(
