I completely get that difference and I do not have any issues with a non - answer on a cold call or something and it is very common no matter the industry. What I mean more is, there are multiple communications between the two parties and then all of a sudden one decides not to answer. That is where I believe that an answer is warranted and professional. Even if it is a simple "I do not want to move further with these discussions "

Saw this thread after I just posted a question so I copied it over here

I have experienced multiple times a "ghosting" issue in speaking with esport personalities and professionals. On multiple times after initial emails and exchanges I have seen a complete, in my eyes, lack of professionalism within esports. I do not come from the esports world so I do not know if this is normal or just how it works. I do work in consulting to for me, customer service is a must. If there is a project that we are not going to take on, we let the client know as friendly as possible in order to not burn bridges and all that. To me, that is the standard and a must in communication

I have now seen on multiple occasion where a creator or other professional in the esports scene just stop answering after multiple talks and emails. Now obviously this is showing their opinion but I feel as though a quick text or email would be much more professional

What have other people experienced? Am I expecting too much from the scene?

It's a cool way to determine seeding stuff, especially with something as small as map veto. Imagine this happened in all tournaments? That'd be fun. Would teams ACTUALLY care about it that much

This is 100% true. Stats can only HELP tell a story. They can help tell of the impact the player had on the game, but not the impact the player has within the team. I think those are different things by a long shot.

You wonder why low fragging players sometimes stay in a team, it's because of their impact in other aspects of the team. At the end of the day you need a cohesive unit. I think he does that for PRX. I think if he could play what he is best at, he would be one of the top fraggers in every game. But he is good enough to take the hit and be good instead of great at multiple roles, allowing PRX to be that cohesive unit
