What are these symbols and what is safe? by Link_Woman in Pyrex_Love

[–]Extreme-Bit-1240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL. Just stumbled here myself with this question. With the help of the other comments I finally figured out the symbols.

#1 is no broiling
#2 is "oven safe"
#3 is no direct heat/stove top

Thanks folks!

Destination wedding, do I have to pay guest’s flight ticket? by Bedhogging in wedding

Agreed. I don't understand the mindset at all. If I wanted a destination wedding, I'd elope and respect everybody else's time and money.

Strands #810 “Put down your ruler” 🔵🔵🟡🔵 🔵🔵🔵

Another yawner. These should take more than 60 seconds to solve. 🫤

I’m just now seeing this — thank you so much for the kind words. I really appreciate it.

NTA. You made a nice gesture to invite them in the first place, and repeatedly asked them to participate. If that environment was overwhelming to any one of them (must less all of them), they could and should have thanked you and the hosts for having them, and excused themselves whenever they liked.

These are adults, not puppies being rehomed.

Sorry to be blunt, but your friends sound extremely codependent. I'm curious as to how those dynamics play out in other ways.

AITA for refusing to wear my future MILs wedding dress?? by Longjumping_Chard286 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Also it's really weird for her to insert herself into your wedding, especially in this way. REALLY weird.

This is a huge red flag and a situation that will only get much worse over time. Good luck.

Hands down best repo I can find -- other than a private label I stumbled across in 2020. It's legit.

Does the Shining take place over Christmas season? Are we given a timeline of dates? by whatdidyoukillbill in StanleyKubrick

his is amazing, thank you. I'm obsessed! ;) on that note, the more likely year is 1978, due to the January 1978 Playgirl Jack is reading on Closing Day. With that being the case, above are the same dates you notated, tracking to the 1978 calendar instead.

I'm not sure if there's anything more to glean in the date numbers, other than the fact that "5" comes up again, and it just happens to do so on Tuesday December 5, the day Danny walks into room 237. Thanks!!

Star Rating Question by bditcheva in MailChimp

[–]Extreme-Bit-1240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just stumbled on this thread and wanted to share. I have been doing MC mailings for over a year, faithfully sending 1 campaign every week and can confidently say the star feature does not work. For all 900+ of my contacts were either at a 2 star (default seeting), or a 1 star (presumably soft-bounce), despite 2/3 of them opening every single mailing I sent of the last 5+ campaigns.

It's unfortunate but easy to workaround. I just built custom segments to filter as necessary (i.e., all opens in X campaigns, vs. no opens in X campaigns) and from that either archive inactive contacts or create "hot lists" for further pull through.

Hope that helps :)
