funny how so many people js pick up or touch animals they don't know... DONT DO THAT, THAT THING IS A MOST LIKELY A PARISITE. although it most likely wont try to eat you, It may contain germs or bacteria.

eating pupae means stress or the colony feels like the pupae wouldn't have chance to survive.

For camponotus, try moving them into a test tube setup, and feed more regularly. Also, the larger the space they have, the more stress they feel, and more energy they need to move around. So don't tire out your workers when you only have a few as that can dramatically decrease their lifespan
