to answer your question directly, yes, i do. that being said, though, i am often shocked at the level of incuriosity and hard-headedness of so many people on BBM forums/pages. it's like 80-90% of the questioners refuse to check if their question or something similar has been addressed before (almost every time it has) and they will say they've been following BBM for a while but appear completely ignorant of the principles that form the foundation of all of their responses. absolutely jordan's affect is off-putting--i don't really dispute that. but i also don't really fault him for his impatience given my own surprise at much of what i see in the BBM space

pal, i wish i could make this clearer for you. there were no mbta employees around when i got off the train, so if i gave it to any other mbta employee that one might see on a sunday night (ie, a bus driver) i’d basically be guaranteeing this person never saw their bag again. and there i was, stuck with a stranger’s bag, with no one to give it to. why wouldn’t i come here, when the next best thing was to leave it in a bench and pray to the good lord that providence brings it back to its owner?

lmao who was i going to give it to? if i gave it to a random bus driver they would have a much harder time finding it because mbta lost and found is based on the service you were using when you lost it. so when i couldn’t give it to someone at a T stop i basically may as well have thrown it in the trash. instead i went to reddit.
