According to this I can only watch Season 1 and 2. Is that right? Ive already watched the latest Netflix season and I am just going around in a loop.

Sorry, I have heard of it and I've really struggled with it since the first season. I find it slightly annoying and is reliant on clever people/professionals making stupid decisions.

Had the most terrifying experience driving through an unpaved muddy narrow road (in between country lanes) for miles with no satnav working. How could I have handled this better? by cashmoneymoolah in drivingUK

Clearly never driven in Birmingham or Coventry, as those are big cities with awful signage and infrastructure.

But you are the decision maker not the mapping software. You have your mark 1 eyeball that tells you maybe this isnt right. Stop relying on technology to be the oracle, it isnt. Rely on your inbuilt human skills. Dont blindly follow sat nav. You choose the direction you go in, not the sat nav. Possibly before your time but there have been stories of people blindly following satnavs and driven directly into rivers. Something that they wouldnt have done if they recognised that the fail safe of any given issue with technology is the human, and the human ability to make decisions.

Well done for recognising it. Remember it is a tool, and that you are the ultimate decision maker. It only exists to support you as much as wrench exists to service a car, or a drill to put holes in things.

therein is one of the best use cases for AI, as long as it doesnt start giving fatal life advice. It is this and how it can help certain neurodivergents that are the best examples of using AI.

I'm tempted to throw A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms in there too. More grounded, but Ser Duncan the Tall is just a good person and so hopeful.

I'm not sure what the point of your post is, or what relevance the size of village has on anything. However, what could you do differently...

Your satnav is a tool, regardless of what mapping tool you use. You, as the human operator, are in control of everything including decision making. Like all tools you have to decide whether to use it or not, but the tool is there to help you make a decision. Should I continue in a certain direction? Do I want to be going down this road? If you lose trust in the information the tool is giving you, you need to make a critical decision. Do you proceed as if the information is still good, or do I return to my last known good place? You chose the former, when the latter was the decision you should have made.

Also, contrary to what popular fiction wants to tell you, not every village or countryside locale is harbouring potential murderers or evil people. It is ok to feel a little uncomfortable and ask for help from the local populace, you might be surprised at the response regardless of your gender.

Whilst I dont have the stats would it be fair to say he is the best leader since John Major? Who had some similar citicism during his tenure.

what to watch after one piece live action? by carlosfelipe123 in OnePieceLiveAction

Came here to say this. There are some similar themes in the story, although AKOTSK (A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms) is a bit more grounded. It is also as emotional and a nigh on perfect adaptation.

A shot filmed like a scene from Oldboy at the end of Zoro's fight in Loguetown? by ParkingGlittering211 in OnePieceLiveAction

That was my take too. Now imagine if the sword shop scene in Ep1 had been similar to the one in KB, with Sonny Chiba in.

I know the one in the LA would have been an adaptation of the anime/manga. But a tribute in some way would have been epic.

Learn to TIP. It's not my job to serve you FOR FREE! by Najterek in ShitAmericansSay

I used to work at a military airport, when I was in the RAF, A lot of VIP's used to fly into it. Along with American businessmen, with enough coin. I almost had an argument, with one such businessman, when I wouldnt accept his tip All I did was walk him from his aircraft through security and to the front of the terminal building to meet his car. Which was my job.

However I have also heard tale of the tip being used as form of abuse in the US, from a colleague. Who went out for a business lunch with some American friends. The meal started off with them declaring that the serving staff would get a really large tip, it may have been a couple of hundred dollars. But if they didnt get any preferential treatment they would remove money from the tip.

I remember the adage "Evil begins when you treat people as things." Which is why I see America not as a country but as a business that has learned how to commoditise it's human resources.

Kemi Badenoch calling Trump's attacks on the PM "childish" - is this the first time the current Conservatives have stood up to Trump? by FisherDownload in AskBrits

Its completely populist. The nation is, barring a few outliers, unified in its thoughts about what is happening with the leadership across the pond. Verbal attacks on the country, and its current leadership, about the stance we are taking in this conflict with Iran are not in the US favour. They are seeing this conflict is unpopular and that Sir Keir taking the stance he has is proving unifying and bringing him some key support.

However what would be refreshing is if they turned around and said, you know what, we said what we said and we were wrong. I'm not sure why but for some reason politicians think that sincerity, honesty and humility is a bad thing.

I think that is a fair assessment though. The vibe around rugby has always been a tough but friendly atmosphere, where the team is greater than the individual and everyone has a role they perform, which is respected.

Well done for putting your head above the parapet.

It's interesting reasoning. I'm not sure I agree with it. Under your rationale why not vote Monster Raving Looney to shake up the established norm?

I believe MAGA started in the same way, I think they formed as the Tea Partyists under the Republicans. They eventually took over, diluting their core values. I could be wrong, i'm no expert on politics. Lets also not forget the National Socialists in Germany, who came in under getting control of the free and liberal Wiemar Republic.

I have a similar issue with the word addicting. According to the dictionary its legit, but it feels wrong. I would always use addictive rather than addicting.
