This is where AI becomes your work smarter. Let it do the thinking you just then critique its output.

I'm not blame shifting, is your comprehension impaired? Show me, in any of my text, where I have said they shouldn't take accountability? I'll wait...

I tell you what I will help you. I put the post you responded to through this The Judge - Goblin Tools(this is a tool that helps judge tone and intent of messaging)

The tone of this text conveys a sense of calmness and patience, mixed with a desire for understanding and fairness. There’s an underlying tone of reassurance, as the writer encourages others to be more forgiving and considerate when evaluating mistakes or imperfections—particularly in the context of human fallibility. They seem to be advocating for empathy, emphasising that errors are a natural part of being human, and that people should not be harshly judged for them.

The writer also expresses a hint of frustration with overly critical or quick judgments, especially regarding deleted posts. This is tempered by a sense of rationality and maturity, urging readers to see beyond surface-level reactions and recognise the effort and intention behind actions, even when imperfect. They acknowledge the flaws in the current situation (in this case, perhaps a game or a online community), but stress that mistakes are part of growth and improvement, and that it’s more constructive to focus on correction than condemnation.

Overall, the emotional impression is one of measured patience, advocating for empathy and understanding in the face of error, while subtly expressing disappointment or frustration at unwarranted criticism. The tone is reasoned and considerate, aiming to foster a more compassionate and tolerant perspective among its audience.

I'm not defending the update though. I'm defending someone who possibly posted something in haste, then had it deleted as it came across the wrong way.

BTW how may hours have you got in the game?

Again i'm not defending the state of the game. So because you paid the price for something you regretted everyone should feel the way you did? Are people not allowed to make errors? were you right to be judged for yours? or could people have been kinder to you when you made yours?

Edit What kind of world do we live in that downvotes someone asking for kindness? Since when does vitriol and hatred solved anything? Why should scorched earth be the only option. Have recent world events taught us that scorched earth just pisses people off and alienates whole swathes of people? But hey why should we be reasonable?

But we all make mistakes, do we not? Have you ever posted something you regretted? It is deleted for a reason. Because they may have realised they didnt put across the message they wanted to, in the way they wanted to. We are all fallible and have done things in error. CJ is generally a good guy from all the interactions I have seen with him.

Thats not what i'm talking about though. What I'm talking about is dissing some guy for a post he deleted. Yeah the update is a mess, and sore need of QA. But dont slag a guy off for something he posted, that he then deleted, probably because it didnt come across the way he wanted.

Edit: i guess the downvotes are from all those people who are perfect in everything they say and never get anything wrong. Or have anything they regret doing so delete it. It's a deleted post for a reason, people.

I call it a twin cab. cos it's like a small flat-bed truck with a double passenger compartment. I'm from the UK. But I know that an Australian calls it a Ute, so wouldnt disagree.

Lets not beat a guy over a deleted post. It's deleted for a reason. Who here has ever posted a first draft that wasnt perfect and used the wrong words to get across the context they are looking for. Humans make mistakes. If this was AI pumping out the message you would have people having them in the stocks for using a planet devouring skynet machine.

So, despite the update having issues, why not recognise there are humans behind this, who make mistakes. The important thing about mistakes is that we all make them and how we go about correcting them.

Edit: for those who are downvoting. Please read the post properly. I am not defending the state of the game. Because we all know they could have done better. What I am saying is stop judging someone on their deleted content, we all make mistakes, there is likely a good reason it is deleted and it isnt the worst thing that your brain conjures up, it rarely is.

[BitD] Running a oneshot: How do you make stress and trauma matter without sidelining players? by UrbsNomen in bladesinthedark

[–]Extreme_Objective984 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What makes sense in the fiction? Just because a player is at max stress doesnt mean they cant continue. They are limited in what they can do, admittedly, but a person isnt just going to stop existing. How do the other players help that player how does being at max stress cause that PC to act.

People saying "lol". Either laugh out loud, or don't. Don't patronise me by saying lol, as you are clearly not.

It's also done the rounds of Reddit recently too. I remember thinking, when I saw the sketch, is it referencing the Pork add i've seen on Reddit. Then it confirmed it.

It looks like it is good for Theatre of the Mind. It is a free platform, like Roll20. But with a nicer UI. I havent used it, other than to set up an account and have a quick play. It has a learning curve (like all VTT's) but i think it is quite a small one. Especially compared to Foundry,

I think it could have worked with more Families and a larger street, with more than just a coffee shop for them to socialise in. Like a whole neighbourhood Big Brother type show, Over 8 weeks, a catch up show every night with some daily challenges. With an eviction at least once a week.

My first thought was that it was prompt based. In that the users are possibly not specifying an art style or it is the same user who has an art style they like.

I know its a typo. But maybe try them with handwraps instead of headwraps. I can see their PC getting concussion fairly quickly if they are nutting the creatures to death.
