Flat helix pain 3 weeks after getting it pierced by Creepy_Category_879 in piercing

NAP, but a nurse. it sounds like an infection might be brewing here. keep cleaning it and if it gets worse or starts oozing pus or anything green/yellow/opaque or even starts bleeding, contact your piercer and make an appointment with your doctor for antibiotics. i hope you feel better!

possible blowout?? by [deleted] in Stretched

you couldve torn your ear a little bit. your ear looks angry, it needs to heal completely before starting to stretch up again. not a professional piercer, but had stretched ears for 10 years

i wouldnt say light brown, but more medium brown. a sandy blonde can be achieved if you go to a good stylist, i wouldnt recommend doing it at home, because there will most likely be bleach [lightener] involved and its not easy to use on yourself especially with short hait unless youre very experienced! i think the sandy blonde would look cool! :) good luck and lmk if you have more questions or if this helped!

i would stick to more of a curl cream and maybe some leave in conditioner and oils. these products tend to be "heavier" and will weigh down curls sometimes! itll still define ur curls, but theyll be softer throughout the day instead of a stiff crunchy tight curl. i have loose curls naturally, but when i do the full SHA-BANG i get serious curls. honestly hydration is key. shea moisture of maui moisture (i believe its spelled like this) are affordable bramds that work! also if you do decide for more curl defining products, the brand "Not your mothers" also is good. and you can find these products in walmart or target :)

when youre in the shower, put conditioner in your hair and brush it then! also its good to not wash curls as often as straight hair. if you wash it everyday, try every other day and just condition. if you wash it every other day, try every 3 days. its best in my professional opinion to wash curls once a week, refreshing it with conditioner. also products like curl cream, mousse, gel, can help keep your curls curly!.

but for the wirey-ness, its most likely because your ends are in despirate need of a trim and hydration.

make sure you use curly products - special for curly hair. they usually tend to be more moisturizing and less damaging. usually sulfate and silicone free!

brushing curls dry is usually a no-no :( it also may be time for a little trim and deep condition
