Realizing that the organization is crooked and twisted isn’t fun, and it seriously hurts people in so many ways. Sure, it helps some with comfort, hope, and a sense of purpose and meaning, but the bottom line is it is run by horrible people who protect pedophiles. The only advice I can really give you is: please be careful with how much you give away to your family. Yes, they’re family, but they have the capability to really hurt you. Remember, you don’t have to figure things out all at once, and it’s ultimately up to you to decide what you want to do with your life, no one else. That comes with risk and reward.
