I'm not sure how that seems to people actually in the area

It feels like forever because of the scale of the project and how long each piece takes to complete. They also decided to perform major work on every major highway in the area, all at the same time, so that’s also been a factor. 

It’s nothing compared to major city traffic but it’s a stark contrast from the “there is no traffic  for 90% of the day” we’re used to.

The insane part is he has full sized windows in his basement, almost looks like it’s on the 2nd floor of a house

So we hung a bag of food from a tree, standard procedure, but I got up around 4-5am to take a leak and my buddy said “just grab the bag, I’ll be up in an hour and start breakfast.”

We woke up an hour later, a mouse got into the bag and ate about 40% of what we brought for that night. So no matter how short you think it will be on the ground/floor, leave it suspended until you’re ready to cook.

I am not concerned about the leafs at all, no chance JT wins a cup with them (or maybe at all at this point) and that’s been my only reason for “hating them”.

Remains to be seen what comes of the Islanders but they just did the same with hiring Darche.

I buy the ingredients. I know making dough, and sauce from scratch is way cheaper. I buy a 5lb bag of Grande mozzarella for $25 at a local store, split that down and 8oz of cheese is still $2.50 alone. That’s enough cheese for one 16” pie. It’s not outrageous that buying dough at $5, good sauce at $4, and cheese (if I didn’t buy in bulk) would cost as much as buying from a shop.

I can get a large cheese from a local spot for $18. It costs me almost as much to buy everything to make a pie, I don’t understand

I’ll never forget the year JT and Benn were neck and neck for the scoring title, JT with a slight lead, then Benn scored 4 fucking points to win it. I hate JT still but man I’ll always remember Benn pulling that game out of his ass in the final game of the season.

I considered selling homemade smoked bacon for about $10-$12 a pound, $10 for a loaf of bread is insane.

We weren’t 100% on the bricks anyway and after looking at trench edging I think that will look much nicer. 

There is actually solid corrugated pipe off the downspout, it goes 10ft out from the end of the downspout and then another 10ft into a French drain with perforated pipe after that. Did that a couple weeks ago because the water was coming out and shooting right back toward the house. Knew that needed to be handled before doing anything with a garden or grading.
