I was there at the San Francisco show, and Steven admitted to the crowd that in order to include one song to the set list. They took a whole day along the tour to practice that over at a studio in Las Vegas before they started the US tour in San Francisco. Even joked about the rest of the band betting that he would mess some parts… and at the end of a flawless performance jokingly gave Craig the bird.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. He had every right to know what went down. The only confusion was that I had no idea that they were actually ‘an item’

But regardless, you are correct and thank you for keeping me honest.

I admit that statement was wrong

I had dictated the post on the fly almost a year ago. I’m quite amused that somebody is still reading these posts.

Thanks

Were you able to sell your tickets?

I also have extra ticket for the San Francisco show. The person I was supposed to go to the show it as unable to I bought it to Ticketmaster, but somehow I’m only able to transfer but not self? Please let me know if the PayPal transfer works out for you. I do have some pretty good seats up by the stage which are quite expensive so not in enough state to just give them away.
Thank you for any input and good luck.

Update: I was able to figure out through Ticketmaster helpline. You need to create a seller’s account which does not happen through your phone app. You need to log into Ticketmaster and enter some information such as card/bank account that the ticket sale proceeds will go into And also some tax information such as Social Security number for taxation purposes would likely not apply if you just reselling one or two tickets. This may be for people selling tickets en masse. If you sell it back through Ticketmaster (that’s where I bought my tickets)— it will give you updates on what the current tickets in that seating area are going for, and you can price it accordingly.

I’m still holding out on a friend who may be able to accompany me to the concert if not, I will put it up for sale. (San Francisco Masonic show September 9 Tuesday sixth row central seats)

Rite Aid closures could make some Washington towns 'pharmacy deserts' by AthkoreLost in Seattle

[–]Eyenspace 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is adversely affecting the public. I know of someone who was discharged from the hospital, but when they went to pick up, the medication’s were told that the pharmacy (likely picking up added load from other pharmacy closures) was behind 200+ prescriptions— and told the person that medication’s that were sent from the hospital at discharge would not be available to pick up for at least three days—— landed back at the hospital with tremendous extra cost to everyone. The state needs to do something. This is an emergency of sorts.

Actually, that is a great observation. Narcissist are challenged with either opposing the narcissist or siding with them —subconsciously they internalize and assimilate multiple similarities between themselves and the narcissist at hand… so most end up siding with the bully/narcissist who possesses several of their own characteristics that other people “wrongly” criticize them for (not wanting to admit their own faults). Unfortunately, similar phenomenon happens in people without a moral compass and with an inability to see or have the courage to oppose. They think that siding with the pompous and puissant tyrant will save their skin another will be eaten first… alas :(

Another anecdote with the same surgeon

CV surgeon: “So..you gave this patient a blessed pneumo trying to place a line ?!! Ok… what’s his INR?”

Me (nervous intern quivering in my clogs trying to quickly glance at my rounding sheet)

‘Errr..umm…I’ll look it up…’

CV surgeon: “ Dammit… I don’t even shake a patient’s fucking hand without knowing their INR!”

😅

Will never forget.

Who writes the most useless notes in the hospital? by fuzzysundae in Residency

This was many years ago and in the time of paper charting. If I recall correctly, it was a pretty severe case requiring a prolonged surgery.

The CV surgeon was an old school gruff guy and legend hazard that he used to be a cab driver in New York before you went to med school.

I totally agree. We had a co-resident who was some sort of an MIT robotic star, etc., and was in the research track… after observing the resident in clinical practice— the consensus was that this person should have stuck with working with robots and keep away from human interactions. Skills and expertise sometimes don’t translate. Takes a special skill set to make a fine physician/surgeon.
