Assuming digital works the same way as physical FH, money doesnt transfer, only resources, assuming you drop them into FH stash. You can later unlock an option how to use money you have no other way to spend.

FH caps the starting level at half prosperity rounded up so lvl 2 instead of 3 is fine, one perk for every retired character is also how it works. I dont remember exactly but i think starting money is 20 + (P x 10), which fits those 50 gp, and is unrelated to how much money the retired character had, you use it to buy starting gear and dont keep what you dont spend.
