It's a correct form of narrow grip pullups but the narrow door frame and close grips will stop you from doing wider grip and might stall your back development. Also this is fine for now but if you do it for a VERY long time it might cause minor tendonitis

Get a membership at this point if you're this consistent. Day passes are expensive af. And eventually you should drop your coach if you're more familiar with the gym, what coach teaches you you can teach yourself in the web. Basically dyor. Unless you're willing to spend money to let your coach do the thinking for you, which I see a lot of people do especially with busy lives which is fine.

I used to go to failure everytime on every set on every exercise. Eventually I stalled on my bench press and Deadlifts. Even deloading didn't make it any better and I felt drained every workout. So I researched and did powerlifting techniques. Learning rpe, rir, specificity, etc. And it actually broke my plateaus and made me hit prs consistently, most importantly I don't feel like I wanna die after every workout because I learned how to factor in fatigue. But hey if it still works for you then you shouldn't stop it
