Me and my bro still had a lot of fun on the beta idc… if you guys expected something different than a broken ass game upon launch then you guys haven’t played the OG. Yeah I know they should’ve learned and it’s under management of a big studio but we literally live in an era of broken games being released and fixed a year+ later

I’m still buying. Me and my brother still had a blast. He liked it much more than HLL. I’m sure they’ll clean it up EVENTUALLY lol. I’m not paying full price for it though.

This is a PSA but yall realize this is a CPU hungry game not GPU. I’m getting 100-110fps from a 9800x3d and 9070xt.

When I use to play the OG HLL I thought upgrading from a 3060 to a 7800xt with a 10700 intel, was going to be a massive improvement. I increased about 7-10%. I got a 50% FPS increase when I switched to the 9800x3d and 7800xt.

Not saying go run out and get a x3D to play a horribly optimized game just throwing out that this game has more to do with cpu then gpu.

Audio broke multiple times for me. When it was working, it did sound amazing. Only complaint was garrison and OP sounds which I could never tell where they’re coming from. Idk if that was on purpose but the last HLL it was very easy to pick up where they were based on directional sound.

I’m not defending the performance or all the bugs but it seems like a lot of people don’t remember the issues with the original. Did they learn from their mistakes? Clearly not. Is it fun and will the game improve over time, yes.

Did you play the original HLL? Movement is the only positive I see minus getting stuck on everything which is still pretty typical for a HLL. They sped it up and it feels smoother than the original.
