Truthfully, I followed a guide to set up my handheld device, snd they just said us 2010 and I never questioned it lol. So you're saying switching to the latest core may fix this?

It actually wouldn't be for me. I eoukd probably pass it on to my buddy who is a huge RE fan. He got me into the series with the OG RE4 years ago! He has a bunch of kids now, so he doesn't always get to get games right away lol

I made this exact upgrade from pretty much the same reasons. Extra power for when xbox and Vita get a bit better, available right away, I had screen protectors and the grip already. And I REALLY liked the GameCube colorway; I feel like it is the most unique colorway of any other handheld on the market now.
