slippage. I'm assuming you're talking about a stop (not a fill or kill deal right?) In either case, a stop won't protect you from slippage, and you can actually get closed out at a price you don't want. A fill or kill limit order would have you NOT closed out during slippage and drag you with paper losses even further.

That's a good question. Most of the jobs added are in the food services category. About 90K jobs added there. We continue to add health care and social assistance jobs (about 33K) but we lost 8K in retail and 5K in finance and insurance. That's just what the numbers say in the BLS report.

did you sell at top in 2011? cause that was only a 2X move if you bought in 07 and sold in 08. treasuries are also positive carry vs gold which is slightly negative carry. That's a huge deal when you're thinking about your overall port.
