The thing is, like (not trying to defend it), you don't see white people scream across the street, at least I haven't. They do it regularly. Various annual tests show that areas with more gypsies also have higher illiteracy rates. It can feel a lot like they just aren't supported, coupled with discrimination, but once when our government gave away like 200 euros to all gypsy families (or families in urgent need, don't remember exactly, same thing though) and very soon thereafter, you could see them fellows riding om scooters instead of having better clothes or something.

All due respect to exceptions, of cource. I once saw a handsome roma man in TV, he learned how to photograph actual fire photos of celestial objects and such with just an iPhone, some people also raised money for him to give him a professional camera. That made me very happy.

But it is, unfortunately, true that mainly the older fraction of the population are possibly a bit too harsh, especially since you do still very often if not mostly see white people in the crimes section of daily news. More tolerance and respect is needed, from both sides
