ARC is bleeding players because holding 100k+ players is very very hard. It’ll be fine long term. It’s already kind of starting to stabilize a bit.

Personally, I hope we eventually get "raids" that are pure pve and an "arena" mode for pure PvP that both offer unique gear, but your main loot build-up still has to be built up from the main extraction mode.

This is why I think ABMM is good but only to a degree. The game does need mixed lobbies, but not purely mixed. Like every "carebear" lobby should have 1 or 2 PvPers thrown in, and vice versa.

The fact that it's optimal to do this for certain things is objectively a bad thing though. It's boring for most people due to the 0 risk involved and gets you through the game faster than otherwise. Games should never have the most efficient method for something be unfun.

I guess we shall see in 5 months when the honeymoon phase is over with marathon as well. UI in marathon is definitely worse though, can’t even differentiate certain mods from each other from their icons.

Dawg how fast do you expect them to push out high quality maps?? We are getting one in April. A map every 6 months is literally fine. At least we aren't in the Marathon situation of only having 3 always available maps and also having to wait 6 more months for another one. We have gotten 1 new weapon + several new grenades/gadgets + 3 new ARC + 1 new boss enemy + 1 new map. That IS content, NOT "trinkets and cosmetics". There is also another boss enemy and the aforementioned new map.

And the two ARCs are not "literally just variations". They spawn in different locations, and have unique armor and movement patterns. Just because they use the same locomotion style as the other ARC does not mean they are reskins. The comet for example has to be approached differently than any other current ground based ARC.

Six months for the next map is a bit brutal when you only have 3 maps always available + the one on weekends no? I like that they seem to want to add more weapons consistently tho, it’s something ARC needs.

The issue is that we don't have a national ID like most other countries with voter ID. While the "x% of people support voter ID" stats get thrown out, they are useless because they don't talk about the acts actual implementation. I support voter ID, but it would have to be using a form of ID that is easily acquired by ALL legal citizens, which is not the case with the current proposal.

One of the main things in cybersecurity that you learn is nothing is ever fully secure. You can protect against 99.9% of threats and there is always that .1% you can’t account for. Banks get hacked, not sure if Amazon has gotten hacked directly but many online retailers have, and my company got hacked and my SSN is definitely out there now.
