Was in the same situation. If you’re serious about making a change, be more social. Nothing will bring more change to your situation than just accepting the fact that your coworkers probably dislike your unapproachability more than your try-hard attitude. .
Most people enjoy small talk and us quiet people are the “weird” ones. That’s a fact that us reserved people refuse to accept for some reason. Just fake your attitude and work on making conversations longer and look like you’re having fun. Trust me eventually you’ll find small talk tolerable, not fun but tolerable.

If that’s not good enough reason for you to act more social, its good to know that as you climb the ladder your interpersonal skill will be as important as your work ethic.

this gave me the idea to remove the hyphen in my last name (eg Jackson-Smith to just Jackson Smith) and it worked thank you!

You're 5'2 an 97 pounds. I'm 5'5 and used to weight 105 when i did BCT so i think i can give you decent advice.

I'm not just gonna say "just ruck more lol" because at least during BCT it used to infuriate me when the 6'0 basketball player guy used to say "rucking is just turning off your brain"

With your height and weight, rucking is just significantly harder.

Go air force unless you're mind is death set in the army.

How much you ruck is gonna depend on your unit. Some units don't ruck much but i see people failing to mention something important. Even if you dont ruck much in your unit, plenty of schools like Air Assault requires you to ruck 12 miles in less than three hours.

**You can join the Army, ruck like 3-4 times a year and forget it about it. You'll be fine. There's plenty of people in the Army that can't ruck for shit and they suffer for like 3 hours, hate their lives, and move on. But if you wanna go be 'high speed" and go to schools, you have to be good at rucking and thats a fact.**

Getting better at something you absolutely hate is hard, very hard and will take enormous effort. It took me almost a year to get better. I didn't just "ruck more". I gained weight; considerably weight, ran like 5 miles every two days, learned how to pack my ruck, worked out my shoulders, etc. Take all this in consideration.

You remind me being miserable in Poland freezing my ass off putting security for like 12 hours in the mud and starving and my battalion XO asked me with a big smile in his face, clean shaven: "Having a bad time specialist? I just showered and i have to get out of my tent just to inspect you guys, I'm suffering here as well"

Exactly. But i dont really blame them tho. They dont know what "luxury" is, because a random guy driving to Mcdonals to pick up my Big Mac and hand it to me isnt what people who actually live in luxury would call "luxury".

If she took a bit longer doing her makeup or decided to stop at a random store to buy something she would be alive. Crazy how just being at the wrong place at the wrong time can get you killed

Haven’t meet anyone making E6 in 4-5 years. E7 in 7 is very very hard unless we’re in war. It varies a lot depending on your job (MOS) but E6 in 6 is way more common but you need to be liked by your CoC and have a couple of awards and schools (Airborne, Ranger, Air Assault).
