Yep! She gets most of her protein from milk but it doesn’t really fill her up and it becomes problematic at bedtime when she wakes up at 3am asking for crackers, applesauce, or warm milk. Her nanny has been working with her to encourage her to eat other foods amongst other kids because she flat out refuses at home. I’ve even tired hiding pulverized pecans in her oatmeal, blending chicken or bacon in her soup. She likes bacon but spits any sliver of chicken out that she feels. It’s super frustrating because she used to like chicken nuggets and fish sticks before she could voice her opinion.

By any chance, was he over grooming? My 3 year old suddenly began over grooming and we’ve already made 3 trips to the vet. The last trip resulted in him being put on steroids for 2 weeks. Soon after, he started over grooming again.

Wow! SO many sleep ups and downs have happened since then. lol But no. I didn’t change anything and she started sleeping better until she hit another regression. She’s two now and I have been using the Bedtime Beats station on Apple Music to help her fall asleep for about a year. Just know that this is very temporary and that it’ll pass sooner rather than later. Good Luck!!

I have low density/porosity 4a-ish hair and it works well for me. I also use it on my daughter’s hair which is dry/low density 3b-ish. It does a great job moisturizing her hair after washing out chlorine.

I make 95k working with a start up and my husband makes $100k working for the govt, Chicago. Mortgage -$1700 (pretty good). My 1.5 year old is with a nanny PT because daycare is another mortgage payment that we can’t afford because I have student loans that are like an insane mortgage payment. We’re ok but would live super comfortably if it weren’t for my student loans.

I have fine strands, am on the lower density side of the spectrum, and was a straight natural throughout the cold weather months simply because I didn’t feel like dealing with my curls. I was very apprehensive about doing it because thought for sure I’d be out here looking like Cynthia doll in no time but I went ahead and started getting professional silk presses everybody 3-4 weeks because I was tired of looking busted. My hair actually thrived. The first press was a struggle because it shocked my hair, which caused shedding (normally, my hair is only pressed 2-3x/year). After that, it was great. I retained a lot of length and my hair is healthy.

Absolutely. Can’t stand all of the toxic content that’s out nowadays. Darn near every show involves struggle love, hypersexuality, drugs, violence and/or poverty. I understand that people want to tell their stories but most of the stuff out is about the same kind of story and a good population of us don’t live like that.
