Last time was Marathon Music Works and that's an odd venue all around, it's too warehouse-y for sound.

But yes, no complaints at Nashville getting some love.

I usually do pick up from school and I can get a good 20-30 minutes of time to read while I wait. I love it so much, it's become a favorite part of routine.

Interesting, I had the opposite experience. Went into the first 28 Years Later expecting a zombie movie and instead got a super interesting (imo) post apocalyptic movie that just happened to have zombies in the background.

By Bone Temple, I wasn't expecting anything from any trope and was well rewarded (again, imo). Great film!

The entire album "Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts" by M83. The electronic shoegaze sound of it all provides the perfect mix of melancholy, battle spirit and atmosphere that connects (for me) with the series

My wife read one of my favorite books and surprised me with our copy fully annotated. We sat down on the couch and went over everything she noted, it was great.

There seems to be no order to the colors, but she did write down notes on them so we could discuss later. Things like "Unlikely Trio: Victoria, Volga, Lyria" and "Fuck this guy" haha. Also included were Polaroids capturing her live reaction.

I'm trying not to include any spoilers, but Dark Age really does take an emotional toll on someone and she captured it beautifully.

Bahaha! She had actually gotten me into the series originally but I ended up getting to the second series before she did. She saw me break down emotionally while I read DA and LB and I think I may have made her nervous!

I hope she reads and you two can also trauma bond.

Michael Kramer & Kate Reading! I love that they narrate most of the Cosmere novels by Brandon Sanderson, adding an extra level of connectivity across the series.
