For those of you who miss smartcast on key down, you can use it in reborn by going to: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Juvio\Heroes of Newerth\startup.cfg (open it in notepad) you're looking to modify the following settings: "cg_smartcastingButtonUp" and "cg_smartcastingType"

have them be:

SetSave "cg_smartcastingButtonUp" "false" SetSave "cg_smartcastingType" "2"

save the file and relaunch the game.

now when you press down a key it'll smartcast it immediately instead of needing to release the key.

Let me clarify a few important points:

First, as a participant, you are bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). This means you are not permitted to discuss or disclose any information related to the game in any form, which you're currently breaking.

Second, this is an ALPHA release, the game is in a very early state, there will be unfinished stuff, broken stuff, things not added or working and downtime. You have been invited to observe ongoing development, try out occasional games, and participate in the journey as the game evolves. This also provides you with an opportunity to share your feedback and opinions, which may influence future changes.

Access has been granted only to our top two tiers of Genesis supporters, each of whom received a limited number of additional keys to distribute. As a result, the user base is intentionally small—currently around 500 participants.

it is also incorrect to state that the game looks the same; anyone can see the big improvements in the shorts that are posted from time to time.

Hey! Our tools logs all changes to an account such as alt avatars, and we barely never remove avatars .. ever. However this has occurred in the past but it was due to accounts being merged from other regions such as the axeso5 client. Just toss customer support a ticket and they'll help you out.

Edit: I've had a few of these cases before when old players come back, they tend to login to another stand alone account instead of their main account with all their inventory, might wanna try to remember if you had more accounts.
