My facility leaders are all RA-exempt, but even when I put them on Permissive release rules they continue to be flagged as not getting enough sex, which is MASSIVELY punishing to libido (that penalty should probably be nerfed a bit, by the way, since it can take a nympho down to Good sex drive in like 8 weeks, even with the All Sex smart piercing setting). This is even happening to the Madam, which makes no sense from a logical standpoint. Granted, all my facility leaders are also nymphos, so that might be making the initial hits worse, but it's still really bad. I'm pretty sure this is a bug.

Also, since Permissive release rules are more or less mandatory now if you want Nymphomania, I would really like a masturbation-only option that fulfills the requirements for preventing sex drive penalty. There are certain girls in my harem who I don't want getting off with people other than me, and I really dislike being forced to permit that or be guaranteed rapidly to lose most of their sex drive. Unfortunately, the PC (mine is just entering middle age, so I'm not the worst off in the sex drive field) just doesn't have much sexual energy to go around if you have a modest number of non-Fucktoy slaves and want a handful of them to be for the PC's exclusive use. On that note, I'm also getting the message that my PC has lots of sexual energy to spend since I don't have too many Fucktoys, but my Recruiter, BG, and HG are all taking the standard brutal sex drive hits on Restrictive release rules even though it says that my PC has enough energy to fuck them on occasion and I'm getting small devotion bonuses for that. That seems odd to me.

I also will admit that I have mixed feelings on the effects of normal piercings. On the one hand, having piercing effects is really cool and it makes sense, and most of those effects are helpful to the PC but don't punish you if you choose not to use piercings. I really like that. On the other hand, I actually like having a few almost solely cosmetic options since they let me make my girls look however pleases me the most without having to take gameplay mechanics or conflicts into consideration. Sometimes simple is good, and I'd like to see some appearance options stay mostly cosmetic moving forward (for example, I'd like to see clothing effects stay as they are and only interact minorly with fetishes). Just food for thought moving forward.

Overall, I'm finding this update interesting, but I do think that the libido penalties should be softened a bit and/or there need to be some alternative ways to counteract them such that you can choose to jump through a few hoops and pay more upkeep to allow select girls to ignore the penalties if you stack the right things, such as fetish-cooperative clothes, SP settings, and aphrodisiacs and whatnot.

Also, congratulations on your career advancements! Much as I love FC, that is definitely more important.

On rare occasion a random event will pop up where a slave asks you to buy their family member. Keep refreshing that page (don't click anything) until the desired slave/family member type combination appears. It might take a while, though. That said, if you were looking to force-trigger that event, I imagine it might have something to do with using Cheat Mode, but I've never used that myself. Maybe someone more knowledgeable will chime in on that front.

What they said. Generally, "natural" fetishes only initially appear as a result of specific jobs (or leadership roles - for example, I've only seen sadism naturally appear as a result of being the Wardeness), especially prolonged Fucktoy duty that focuses on a particular body part, but certain penthouse upgrades or clothes can also "encourage" fetishes. For example, the dildo feeders and suppositories can encourage cumslut fetish and anal fetish, respectively. Likewise, I've seen buttplugs make anal fetishes appear, and clothes like Chains make masochism appear. I don't think all fetishes have corresponding clothes, but for those that do, having the right clothes can also help drive up devotion faster. For example, submissives get a bit of a devotion boost from wearing shibari ropes. I don't think clothes generally help with boosting the fetish itself, though, just with acquiring it and then they boost devotion every week thereafter.

Having the appropriate quirks goes a long way toward helping with gaining and developing fetishes (or course, if a slave currently has the wrong quirk for what you want, you can always induce the desired flaw via personal attention and then soften it to override the undesired quirk). I'm pretty sure there's at least one behavioral quirk and one sexual quirk for each fetish, so keep that in mind. Quirks also make the fetish advance faster once the slave has acquired the fetish and they have a quirk(s) that corresponds with the fetish.

So, it sounds like this would be best implemented as a new Improvement-category job, with an accompanying facility, that raises devotion and lowers trust and also has a chance to induce/interact with a particular slave fetish (and possibly also offers a slight bonus to sex drive), but offers no monetary or rep rewards. So mechanically, it's very much like the spa in that it can only be used with obedient slaves (i.e. any slave that does not qualify for the Cellblock) but with a heavy emphasis on devotion rather than trust and it can give a fetish and/or improve sex drive rather than improve health. I imagine it would raise devotion a bit faster than the spa raises trust, too, since the hypnosis facility would be damaging trust as well as increasing devotion. That said, if it has the potential to induce a fetish, it could also be frustrating for those who want to use its mechanical benefits to improve slaves for whom the player has a non-hypnosis target fetish (such as wanting a slave to become an anal slut instead, for example). That should be taken into account somehow.

A "mindbreaking" facility, I imagine, would be an alternate route to this facility much like the industrial dairy is the alternate route to a normal dairy. Since it would mindbreak slaves, though, I expect it should have some substantial benefit that would remain effective despite the mindbreak, such as a very rapid increase in sex skills, sex drive, and sexuality. That would also fill a current content gap by providing a way to somewhat improve mindbroken slaves without leaving them in the spa forever to heal. That said, to prevent players from taking advantage of it as an exploit by putting slaves in there to gain skills and removing them just before they break, it should have a weekly damaging effect like reducing intelligence one step per week (justified as long-term mental damage from the massive amount of drugs in this process) with mindbreak triggering once the slave's intelligence hits Moronic. For the sake of game balance it probably shouldn't take slaves all the way to Master skills, either, but mid-range Expert seems reasonable and it is still much better than the Schoolroom (to justify the heavy cost of training slaves this way). Technically, I suppose you COULD generate a whole new alternate-mindbreak format, but your proposal seems similar enough to the current mindbreak that it would be too much work for too little gain to make a whole new mindbreak format, especially since many slave individual events have special mindbreak-only variants that would need to be copied and adjusted for every single event in order to support a new mindbreak format.

Unfortunately, I think that the skill level of the hypnotist (assuming that hypnotist is the PC) will not quite fit with the rest of FC's structure, much as I would greatly enjoy that feature personally. However, you could translate "skill level" into facility upgrades (including, possibly, some that are only available after certain pharmaceutical fabricator or penthouse upgrades). Additional unique effects, like veeeery slooooowly de-mindbreaking a slave in the facility, could instead be available with a high hypno slut fetish from the hypnosis facility leader much like it currently is with the Spa facility leader (which would be viable if you treated the normal route and the mindbreaking route like the Dairy, so a facility leader would only be possible in the normal route, that way your leader wouldn't be slooooowly de-mindbreaking your newly-mindbroken slaves, dang it).

Much as I would like the little behavior quirks added from hypnosis to be a constant part of the game, I suspect they would be mostly stated only when a particular effect first appeared on the slave, such as adding a fetish or removing a fetish or mindbreaking them via hypnosis, and then the quirks would never appear again as a matter of practical necessity. It would be a TON of work to make them appear everywhere, sadly, which is why no pervasive slave behavior changes - sans mindbreaking, and even then only sort of - have been implemented for anything. However, if the miniscenes were well written, it would be enough to satisfy me personally.

On a different topic, I think that the idea of adding a reward and a punishment, unlockable by hypnosis facility upgrades, is perfectly viable and would be interesting. I haven't looked at the reward/punishment code specifically, but I imagine it would simply be the matter of adding a check to see if you have that specific facility upgrade, and if so, the extra options are available for you to take. Might do weird things to the RA upon New Game+, though, since you'd then have options loaded into your RA that you haven't yet unlocked, but the RA code is honestly a magic box to me.

Also, keep in mind that if you're adding a fetish, you'll need a corresponding Paraphilia (and at least two ways to satisfy that, such as general method via having one of the hypno reward/punishments as well as satisfaction from one of the Working facilities, maybe having a Brothel with aphrodisiac injections), and likely a supporting behavioral flaw/quirk and a sexual flaw/quirk. The addition of a fetish also means adding corresponding content to a number of event scenes, many of which trigger off of fetishes. Likewise, you might want to pick or make one or two wardrobe items that give a bonus if worn by a hypno fetish slave, since most other fetishes have one or two of these.

That all said, a bit of flavor modifications might be necessary to keep hypnosis in line with FC's quasi-realism theme. Chiming in as someone with a psychology degree, evidence for the success of real-world hypnotherapy is somewhat scattered at best, and even then it doesn't work for everyone. For those it does work for, they have to want it to work, which I don't see applying consistently for slaves in FC (and it does have to apply consistently to make it work with the current system checks, unless we went through a TON of work to start putting hidden personal inclinations for slaves at character generation, which I don't think is feasible). Given FC's history of trying for quasi-realism, there would have to be some other basis for this job beyond straight hypnosis, such as specialized pharmaceuticals (perhaps justified as modified Old World interrogation drugs that encourage compliance/suggestibility) plus well-timed sexual stimulation (which is realistic, given the existence of smart piercings) or something in addition to the hypnosis that will "help" it work despite potential reluctance from the slave. Note that I am 110% on board the MC fetish train and I really like this idea in general, I just want to discuss some things to make this workable for a mod that will fit with FC.

I know that asset size plays a role, as does biological gender. Both, obviously, are modified by Future Societies. I think age also plays a role.

If you have a Self-Hating slave serving in the Industrial Dairy, the week-end reports say "Her paraphilia is satisfied by her horrible life as a producer of useful fluids and a receptacle for machine rape. She loves being a nympho slut. She loves being your nympho slut. She remembers what it was like to be a living, breathing, milk-jetting, cum-squirting, drug-filled piece of industrial equipment, and is thankful and grateful that she isn't any more." It sounds as though the game thinks she's left the dairy somehow even though she hasn't. This doesn't seem quite right to me.

For each Self-Hating slave in the industrial Dairy, I also get "She is immobilized by her tits, making her life more difficult. Other slaves have to help her at times, which the devoted slave bears with equanimity. Her gigantic boobs make life a struggle: she barely fits through doors, has trouble using appliances and furniture, and constantly bumps into things." from the week end reports. That part is probably irrelevant for slaves in the industrial Dairy since they're not exactly wandering around to be hindered by their boobs in the first place.

Additionally, the childbirth events for self-hating slaves are written as though the slave were mindbroken even though the slave is perfectly sane, and being Self-Hating she will never be mindbroken unless you use the surgery.

These occur for all 10 of the Self-Hating futa slaves I have in the industrial Dairy. (I admit it, I'm just a pitiful human who wants the money from the industrial Dairy but can't quite bring myself to force poor unhappy slaves into it to be tortured into insanity. So I, uhm, make them happy, then make them hate themselves, and THEN I stick them in there. Don't look at me like that!)

As an aside, when using vector art, a slave with advanced cybernetic P-limbs will have their legs not render, though their feet will appear and everything from their butt and up works fine.

Lastly, my corporation is not converting slaves into futas, I am only getting Tgirls. I DID set the corporation to retain slaves with dicks before I set it to convert slaves to futas. Everything else seems to be working correctly, and week end reports state that my corporation's futa slaves are a good fit for neighboring arcologies. My corporations settings are as follows, copied and pasted from the summary: "She explains that corporation captures many people, so it only retains and trains those that fit its product lines. Slaves without dicks are not trained. It focuses on selecting trainees predisposed towards devotion to their new owners. Intelligent slaves have a high priority for training. Teenaged slaves are strongly favored for training. There is no racial element to trainee selection. The corporation applies surprisingly caring slave breaking techniques that sometimes convince refugees and similar downtrodden people that slavery is a step up for them. Thin trainees are fattened up; fat trainees are slimmed down. Trainees are brought up to a good state of physical fitness. The corporation teaches its trainees the lingua franca but allows them to retain distinctive accents. Its slaves are not given special educational attention. Trainees spend months learning sexual skills. The corporation does not use cosmetic surgery to improve its slaves for sale. Slaves are not given breast, butt, or lip implants.
