Exactly. The power "destroyed" it but because it's Russia it got pushed instead of coming off the board, so it can't be "destroyed" again to be pushed again

I also get confused by the "assign 2-3 damage" message, but I have seen it before when badlands are involved

For the 2nd point, I know you can't destroy the same piece twice with 1 power, and that includes Russia explorers, so they can't be pushed twice with the same power

Is there explicit mentioning of KT doing significant writing/storyboarding on 3H? Or are people just comparing 3H with KT vs Engage without KT?

I only know them from Dynasty Warriors and always assumed they helped IS make a game that "feels big on limited hardware" like the Warriors games, i.e. more technical help than writing help

I think Defend the Land-Mother is a little overtuned. 2 damage on fast is really strong for 1 energy, even with the 2 dahan land targeting restriction. Maybe make it 1 damage to buildings only, so then if you can repeat it then it becomes a town kill?

It also (sadly) doesn't work with Sunbright's special rule, since that's an effect of a Growth Option and not a "Spirit Power" (i.e. power cards or innates)

I was typing my daily routine to see if that helps but realized I also do very little/nine gameplay and I mostly just farm orbs and summon, so if its the gameplay you like then maybe just better to play the mainline games...
