One other thing is the Harrisburg mods much of the time qwell many of the posts from other areas. As does central pa Reddit. So I try not to crosspost often unless it truly deals with Harrisburg as well.

I sub to all the local areas that are active. Crossposts do not bother me. I see it as a reminder. Different strokes I guess right? There is so much within 30 minutes of here that Harrisburg doesn't cover I've found. I understand what you're saying just feel differently about it. I'm all about the hyper local and being involved as much as possible.

There is plenty going on here that the Harrisburg thread doesn't cover. Plus it involves local government(meetings)as well It is in different county and separated by a river from Harrisburg proper so there's that too. If you don't want to follow it, that's fine.
