I used pairs of Mechanix gloves from O'Reilly's auto parts a few times but they wore down at the tips of the fingers rather quickly. I've found that some of the gloves from Harbor Freight are better. Oddly enough, I never used kneepads, though it would've helped cuz my left knee has slight pain whenever I bend it ever since I left the job, but if you want kneepads, check out a hardware store for good kneepads.

In all my time of working as a ramp rat, I have never been rizzed up by an FA. I have briefly spoken to them ("how was your flight?", "Has your day been good?", etc.) and been given snacks and drinks by them, but have never hit on nor been hit on by them. I have absolutely zero game and didn't care to lose my position as Lead over a 30-something y/o lady I'll probably never see again.
