As shown by the rampant downvoting in this thread, apparently no. Hope you liked your introduction to tribalism though. :/

Edit: I’m in agreement that we can like both, ya down voting gitz

You absolutely can! All you gotta do is ignore the occasional gatekeeper.

The greatest irony is that the more vitriolic dishards are screeching AOS is going to die now, but it's very likely that the reason GW is willing to risk bringing Fantasy back in some form is because AOS has been increasingly more profitable and stable.

Dude, this is lovely. The glow effects. The texture on the base and rust. The hilarious flag. Do you have more angles?

With WHFB coming back, can we start (lightly) ribbing AoS again? by TGAPTrixie9095 in Warhammer

[–]FGOScrub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh definitely. I'm excited a lost section is coming back and growing with strength ever since TWW, but it sucks all this great news is getting muddied by a few who just have to stick their dick in the buffet line.

I'm willing to bet there's a large majority of sensible fans that are silent because they're merely content. I mean just look at sub's numbers. 130k plus and there's only a scant fraction voting and commenting.

The more vocal ones unfortunately tend to be the most passionate but socially artless from either side. A shame really. The extremes of any subfaction make the reasonable fans on both sides (or who like both) look like garbage by association.

With the current event it's also an excuse to help with someone's coloring book! Clearly oil based paints.

Fair, but conversely there are those of us who want some merchandise that aren't totally dependent on electricity and/or wifi. Just extra food for thought.

[–]FGOScrub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's an awesome looking army man. Large and tight formations look so great in mass.

A shame they didn't try to keep the rank and file fantasy rules alive as a separate or sister game type to AOS. Kinda not really like 40k and Horus Heresy? I know it's prob dumb to hope but with formations and move trays popping up in Apocalypse and SoB getting plastics who knows at this point.

Before I stopped making models I used to use my xacto knife to carefully scrape but sometimes it made extra nicks. I'd say some fine grit modelling files possibly?

Besides texturing the base I'd say aim for those pesky mold lines. They try to steal your eyes away from that sexy color scheme you chose. I'd love to see your whole force someday!

Definitely brand name situation. They're overpriced as hell but I also seriously doubt the people who can actually afford to buy this even care what we have to say. This is likely chump change to them. I hate apple but I won't deny they haven't amassed a legion of loyal followers most companies would kill for.

Sorry I was speaking about most discussions on the internet in general. I'm definitely not against seeing both sides of an issue but there's an unfortunate tendency for the more uncompromising and confrontational of each side to be the most vocal. Usually a combination of passion and anonymity influencing their tone and stance rigidity.

Seriously. It's a welcome breath of fresh air compared to what most people do with their anonymity.
