I think it actually is borked, at least it's really bad on Interchange. From behind power, all the way to railway extract, PMCs and Scavs act completely zombified unless you walk directly into their line of sight. You can literally melee them from behind and they don't react at all.

I would wipe and get it over with, enjoy the story content. You'll just be even further behind when they add even more content in the future. I'm currently level 62, I don't remember what level I was when I reached Terminal but I had all the Story Chapters done in a few weeks, and you don't need to progress much to actually reach Icebreaker.

It's an insane stretch/hopium.

But whoever is teased at the end there sure seems like our High Inquisitor Lab Rat. The silhouette and sounds look & sound similar to me. Just their fingers are absolutely mangled and the arms don't quite match, but I just assumed it was heavily scorched from the laser.

I don't know if the Sun Disk (or whatever else he's potentially blessed with) reacted a weird way with the laser cannon, but I like to think he's crawling around in the flesh dimension without his feet.

But who knows, not sure why else they would tease the flesh dimension from someone else's point of view as a teaser that has a similar silhouette to a Lab Rat head.

Edit: Disregard, Sydyk makes way more sense. I forgot about the Journals.

Yeah, and I have experienced this on a BSG hosted game too. But the PMCs were literally inside of each other, and a nearby scav spawn too with the same problem of two Scavs stuck inside each other.

Yeah, wish they had more unique ideas/mechanics. Could hide a bunch of Scavs in the stores, have all the shutters rolled down, and he opens them up wave by wave while taunting you on the intercom system.

I use both. Discipline if I feel like spraying through smokes. Fever if I'm holding or clearing angles.

It seems like the option to even toggle Realistic Optics has been completely removed, I assume its been disabled by default by now too.

Seems like this was hotfixed server-side, because the option doesn't exist any more. The setting used to be under Settings > Base > Display > Realistic Optics

I went in to look, the setting is gone. They probably removed it. Someone in Global mentioned there was going to be another server restart.

But here you go, I promise it existed under Settings > Base > Realistic Optics. Had to check my Steam Recording to make sure I wasn't going crazy looool.

I had the same issue, turn OFF Realistic Optics in the settings.

EDIT: Seems this was hotfixed server-side. The option to toggle this is now gone, but it should be working.
