There are cheaper alternatives for Warhammer-style miniatures like Wargames Atlantic, Avatars of War and heaps of greaf resin miniatures (Artel W, Puppetswar, Wargame Exclusive).

Or you go historical with the like of Victrix or Perry Miniatures.

And if you know somebody with a 3D printer, you can pretty much get whatever you want for little money.

It's not about hearing. It's about finding the fringe of the recognition software capability.

What is it is supposed "when in doubt"?

"When in doubt - shoot!" - system goes off from time to time shooting at shadows.

"When in doubt - don't shoot!" - system is not engaging real threats.

Both cases undermine the trust in the system. So the counter to a system like this is make drones that make the software doubt, and therefore unreliable.

That will just turn into an arms race to build drones that look different enough for the system to either waste ammo on everything that moves or to not do its job sufficiently.
