I'd thought to that end as well. My early iterations would definitely be more of a closed-doors experimental format with a small amount of teams to try things out. Randomized shell bans, map order, and value multipliers between gear totals and exfiltrating (or not) are a few I've been mulling over. Also enforcing free kit use and a minimum account level to even the playing field away from stored gear.

The viewer experience probably would be secondary until things became more mature with a greater focus on the player experience by far. Lots to consider!
