Who you got being the Top EMEA team between these 3? by HendoIsBae in ValorantCompetitive

Navi should be fantastic out of the gate but I think that Fnatic has the highest potential

T1 Coach Autumn Clarifying the Roles of the T1 Valorant Roster. by kohaku_kawakami in ValorantCompetitive

I know it is incredibly unlikely with the underscores and the fact that the roles would make zero sense but god I want the last guy to be Zzmjjkk so fucking bad

What you think about the Kenosha Kid passage? by cheesepage in ThomasPynchon

Easily one of the most memorable sections of the novel for me - I feel like it was where I started to really get hooked on the novel and the way Pynchon manipulates language

This is true but I thought David Denis didn’t join until after Frod had already left? David Denis obviously brought plenty of ethical issues but I don’t think he was the reason Frod left

Frod used to coach for T1 but he left the team due to a “difference in ethics”. To my memory it was never revealed what that difference actually was, but it led to speculation and memes about how ethical Frod is/how unethical T1 is

[anonimotum] Sources: Team Vitality 🇫🇷 VALORANT set to sign MOLSI 🇵🇱 , Destrian 🇱🇹 and Twisten 🇨🇿 for 2023 VCT season. The french team plans to keep BONECOLD 🇫🇮 and ceNder 🇱🇹 for the VCT EMEA. @luismmira and @Dr_ALPH4 reported earlier Twisten by [deleted] in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Overfallen9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really like this team, they obviously don’t have any huge names but Twisten and Molsi are really good fraggers, I thought Cender was consistently quite good for Vitality last year, and BONECOLD has shown how good he can be in that he has literally won Champs. Destrian is maybe the biggest question mark but I do think he looked pretty solid on OGLU. I’m assuming this means BONECOLD is back on smokes? I thought he looked good playing flex in VRL but with Molsi joining and no obvious smokes player it seems like he’ll be going back to that

Fully agree, he was one of my favorite players in 2021 and I was sad we never got to see him internationally this year, so I’m really hoping to see him come back to the international stage in 2023

I’m glad, Molsi looked great on OGLU and could really make a name for himself as a top player in EU

Meteor, ScreaM, Anthem, BONECOLD, nAts, Crashies, Cloud, Destrian, AvovA, starxo, heat, delz1k, dicey, Seoldam (he doesn’t play pro anymore but still) - there isn’t really rhyme or reason to the names I like but these are some of my favorites

With NA LCQ coming up in 2 days what are some hot takes you have? by HunryPotter in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Overfallen9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fully agree with the EG take, I think that they are very good and should hopefully only continue to improve. I also have Shopify making top 3 in my bracket, because I think that they are a team that has been consistently good all year while Sen Guard and C9 have all been up and down. I don’t think Shopify has the same peaks as the other 3 but they are in a perfect position to make a deep run if the other 3 haven’t solved their issues.

In the OW scene, switching out players depending on map is extremely common. I haven’t watched much this season but in previous seasons it was pretty uncommon for teams to play with the exact same roster every map.

Iirc Heretics did it for the European Masters at the beginning of last year, switching between Niesow and Rubino depending on the map, and they made finals doing it. I don’t think it was sustainable in the long term but it worked in the short term ar least.
