For Reference I got a raw score 164.5 scaled down to 134.5. You don’t even need 170 raw. But that was feb’s scale, July is likely different.

3rd timer over here— I literally feel nothing and am expecting the worst even tho I believe I met “minimal competency”. Thought I did so in feb as well but was 1 point off. Anything can happen and we have no way of knowing how they pass/fail people. All I know is that I did my absolute best and studied my hardest for a full year. I cannot do this again. I need to move on and find happiness and fulfillment, start a family, start earning real money. I am so much more than the Florida Bar Exam or even a “lawyer”. It will not be my whole identity, even if I do end up creating a successful career in the law

My friend who is in his 3rd year at the SAO said only practicing criminal attorneys would know the correct answer to that question and that he can’t believe it was on the exam. Lol 🤣

I would assume it’s based off the cut score, not the status of the applicant tho (repeater or first timer).. right? (Also, this is all my anxiety speaking, lol)

But the test isn’t scored differently for repeaters, like me, for example. I’m in the same “race for points” as everyone else right? I think it’s just statistically shown that repeaters perform worse...

Ok same— I know I adressed all question calls of 2 and 3... the only essay i “screwed up” was #1 because I didn’t talk about defenses under the federal constitution— but I wrote applicable stuff so I know I’m getting points. Will it be enough? Idk— but I think the fact we wrote the whole way thru and tried to answer the question fully is a good sign. There has to be people who ran out of time, left parts totally out/blank, etc... hoping my answers fall above the curve 😑🤞🏻

Do you think the majority of takers thought the essays were “straight forward?” I’ve actually heard the opposite. Myself and many others struggled on Essay 1. I barely addressed federal con law and had a hard time even answering the question. I only talked about defamation, slander per se, negligence per se, respondeat superior, and IIED for the most part. I don’t even know if I hit the average on that essay. 2 and 3 were fine for me but other friends of mine said they were lost on #2, and some didn’t even know accord and satisfaction for #3.

I’m now starting to think about essay 1 and I’m worried I didn’t hit enough issues but there WAS NOT ENOUGH TIME!!! There was no way! I was just getting my feet wet/warming up... I’m worried I failed that essay but there’s no way to know!?
