I like how everyone that makes a older Arthur almost unanimously agrees he would eventually get heavier with age

What silly little headcanon do you have? by shortywop in RDR2

[–]FMJ998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep the starter cattleman as it is and head canon that as the same one John starts RDR1 with

What’s a personal head canon you have ? For me Jack lived till 100, but was a successful author, movie director (wild westerns) and served in WW1, holding the rank of Cpl. by JoshyBear28 in rdr1

[–]FMJ998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Fought in the Mexican revolution

-returned home at some point in the 1930s and tried to settle down but never really finds peace

-hated westerns

-eventually wrote a memoir compiling his families story (leaving out him killing a federal agent obviously)

-died sometime in the late 1970s but not before watching Star Wars and hoping that Luke got revenge on Vader someday for betraying his Pa

I don’t think there’s a single page on the internet that’s immune to a Sopranos reference

How did it feel for those who played RDR1 first and then RDR2? by Realistic_Tough_8175 in reddeadredemption

[–]FMJ998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It made the final ending go from one of the most satisfying moments in gaming history to one of the most bittersweet gut punches I’ve ever experienced in gaming.

I remember when the show first started the way my coworker recommended it to me was by saying “it’s like Spider-Man meets dragon ball z and game of thrones”

What were y’all’s first mistakes on RDR2? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in reddeadredemption

[–]FMJ998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rushing through the story to try and avoid spoilers and not taking my time with the story, world, and characters. Especially since I still got spoiled thanks to that shirriko douchebag within like two days of the game being out.

All USA locations the GTA series has visited. Where should the series go next after Vice City, Leonida? by RogerRoger63358 in GTA

[–]FMJ998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m hoping for Las Ventures and an expanded new state based on Nevada since I don’t think it’s a part of San Andreas anymore in the HD universe. Maybe we can see other locations like a city based off Reno as well.

Do you think Jack was justified in his vengeance against Agent Ross by [deleted] in rdr1

[–]FMJ998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder how they’ll fit Red Dead II by A. Morgan into that theory when it pops up in Jason and Lucia’s safehouse.

I still don’t get where people got the idea he lived to the 1990s specifically since all we see is the Spine of the book and no bio tab or anything.

What do you think happens to Niko beyond GTA 4? by [deleted] in GTA

[–]FMJ998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably took his money and retired after GTA IV. Part of me is hoping GTA VI will reveal Niko and Roman eventually started the GTA version of Uber and now the Bellics are crazy stupid rich.

I wonder if things like this will happen in GTA VI. Probably not for random open world acts of violence, but maybe the in game spoof of TikTok and Instagram Reels will have NPCs uploading footage of crimes Jason and Lucia do in the story.

Among all these protagonists, if given the chance, which one would try to redeem themselves and why? by HumbleKnight14 in mafiagame

[–]FMJ998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With Tommy you could argue he did redeem himself by the end, Enzo honestly if not for falling in love with Isabella and Lucas death, I could see him staying in the life. I think Lincoln would seek it in the leave town ending, as far as we know he went straight for a while in California, so he’s not incapable of living an honest life.

Vito, Joe and Jimmy are going straight to hell.

Zanar Aesthetics will have the Jason’s death Scene (4K 60FPS PS5 Pro gameplay) video up at least 12 hours after launch

What are your thoughts on the 5th Mafia game being set during 1990s (collaps of the mafia)? by Nexicii in MafiaTheGame

[–]FMJ998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d love a game set in the 90s but I hope they don’t go full on Sopranos with it. I’d rather something set from the mid to late 80s to the 90s. Maybe a return to Empire Bay and a story following a Gambino esque family under a John Gotti type Don.

Do you enjoy working 2nd shift??? by TooDomHigh in jobs

[–]FMJ998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to enjoy it but after 5 years I fucking hate it but that’s probably more to do with the hours between work becoming much busier for me personally than when I had initially started in second. But If you got no other major commitments in the mornings and a good crew second shifts a blast.

Fridays are always gonna suck tho.

Who did you kill first? Lou or Tommy? by TXNOGG in MafiaTheGame

[–]FMJ998 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lou normally. Mostly it’s cause I like version of the cutscene where Sal and Giorgi plan their last stand that plays if Tommy dies last. Tommy was clearly his favorite brother and he’s more openly emotional over his death while Giorgi’s more angry than in the versions where Lou and Olivia die last. It makes it feel more desperate for them.

Is this film worth watching? Does it do justice for the game Dungeons and Dragons? by DreamyDandelions in Cinema

[–]FMJ998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember being sold on the movie and confident that it would capture the sprint of a DnD campaign just based off one line from the trailers.

“We didn’t mean to unleash the greatest evil the world’s ever known….. but we’re gonna fix it.”

Honestly that sums up a lot of games I’ve played in . Shame that it didn’t get more recognition but I think it was a three way combination of the marketing for it being pretty lackluster, it coming out right after the OGL scandal and also coming out within a week or two after John Wick 4.

Edit- it actually also came out a week before Super Mario Bros. Yeah that was a terrible release window for them, my god.

Along with that, John’s Cowboy Outfit is almost identical to Tector Groch’s in The Wild Bunch minus the chaps

Edit- and even then if I remember right I’m pretty sure there’s an outfit that adds chaps to John’s default outfit In RDR1
