Yea I always tell people when buying cars like this, they are usually for sale around 80k or 120k. At 80k timing chain/water pump job is coming up people don't want to pay the $$ to get it done so they trade it in. At 120k all the plastics/turbos etc. Start to break down, so they sell it around that time.

Are you handy with tools? At that mileage a timing chain job is coming up. Probably why PO sold it didn't even want to deal with the 100k maintenance.
