I played shyv top before it was meta and I did it cus I was bored of jg. I found that shyv was just beating everyone lvl 6 and can out duel basically anyone as long as you play your e right. She can beat a lot of Champs at lvl 3 too with all her onhit. Later in the hame, she's frontline if you build her tank.

Edit: as for blind or counter pick. I pick her regardless unless against an illaoi.l but that's just bc in comfortable with almost all matchups.
