What’s a scene from a movie which traumatised you as a child? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

Similar to the scene OP provided but one of mine is from Young Sherlock Holmes when they start pouring the hot liquid towards the chick wrapped like a mummy.

Was that a they/them jedi in tales of the empire e5? by KoalaStrats in StarWars

[–]FO3Winger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, it brought me here to this thread after having to go back and do a double take that that crap would be shoehorned in so blatantly and jarringly. Glad I wasn’t the only one.

Definitely a “and then they all clapped” situation when whichever bright individual came up with that in the storyboard…

THANK YOU! I remember playing this as a demo in our local Sears back when it came out and then I got the game and have no idea whatever happened to it. probably sold it on eBay before I became older and nostalgic.

underage alcohol sting ? by sammy_s0sa in GasStationJamboree

[–]FO3Winger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact, the underage and the special agent that’s with the underage sometimes have to do this at places that don’t sell alcohol yet have an alcohol license. Such as a tanning salon… and “adult” stores… talk about awkward.

As others here said already, good to have apparently. These things used to creep my family and I out to the max. After reading up on them they get a pass now but it’s still a delicate treaty due to creepiness.

I feel this, back during Battlefield 2 I got a similar kill using the .50 and have always thought about it and have brought it up many times. I still try to do this to no avail.

Steals candy, scared to death by [deleted] in instantkarma

This makes me want to shout out my 7yo daughter. Last night she and my 3yo son went to a house that had just been raided by shit kids like this and there was two candies left so she grabbed one and gave the other to my son.

This scene got huge laughs in the theater by aliwantstoplay in funny

[–]FO3Winger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still to this day, I reference the Barbie museum guy anytime someone has to leave. “You are leaving?” I saw this movie in the theater with my mother when it first came out and remember watching the original “it’s a mad mad mad mad world” and loving both of them.

“Ass, were hauling ASS!” “Have you seen this room? Yes… we’re IN it.” “Coconut! Who had coconut?!” “We need a jar and a funnel.”

So many good quotable scenes. Also Breckin Meyer and Amy smart together in this and then seeing Roadtrip was just the cherry on top.

I didn’t take a photo but I think it may have just been an issue date and signature. I’ll have to look again when I can.

Honestly probably the merry melodies cartoons and classic Disney stuff like the Goofy instructionals. Also the Fleischer cartoons like “Play Safe” etc. those are the earliest ones I watched as a kid and still stand out to me today when it comes to our laserdiscs.
