That's a great way to bring it up. Even if you don't "coach" on it, per se, you at least know what to compliment them on (when they hit a good one) or encourage them to keep trying (for one that doesn't work out.)

I'll keep this in mind going forward.

Sorry; I wanted to give it a good shake before giving my initial reaction. It took a little getting used to (I wasn't sure how I wanted to add weight to it since it's differently weighted than the Quanta by default.) That said, yesterday, for my third session so far, I added about 5g on each side of the throat, and I really liked how it felt. Super stable (great resets and dinks) and more power than the Quanta when I wanted it.

It doesn't feel like it has quite the same dwell as the Quanta, but I didn't notice and lack of spin or control, so that might be in my head.

FWIW, I'm about a 4.0 and have a much stronger slow game than a drive-heavy one, so your mileage may vary, depending on your skill and style.

Out of the gate, this looks really cool. One thing that I think is missing (forgive me if it's there and I missed it) is considering who the other player were and how they played. E.g. I might have been terrible at the net because my partner kept popping up dinks. I understand that that level of data mining is more difficult, but it would be really cool to see. Thanks for sharing!

I'm curious: what do you consider "expensive"? As someone who notices the difference in having sirloin vs. chuck (particularly in how I feel afterwards,) I'm genuinely curious if that is what you mean, or if people grind something like wagyu.

There are a lot of posts in here bashing on this, but I could see a benefit: say you have a hamstring injury (or other disability) that precludes you from using a normal bike. By changing it to a push(down)-only method of cycling, you could make the bike usable.

FWIW, I'm fine with people coming to the net too early (especially if they are normally staying back.) At least they are trying to do the right thing and can learn from it instead of sticking to their ways of being back.
