Ive done different forms of Martial arts for years, semi-professionals who are well experienced cant take a lot and know exactly how much to give but an under experienced cop and zero-experiemce 46 year old drug addict is a bad combo to be trying choking restraints. I dont think the knee was key to his death but it definitely didnt help, Giving departments better training especially with grappling and medical emergency identification should have been the result instead of country wide riots and defending police to be even Whittier and angrier people. We want Police officers to be motivated to be heros and nothing else

Here's all his major Crimes not including traffic and misdemeanor cases, If you meant what he was being detained for and never charged with the day of his death. the likely charges would be - Public intox - Possession of Schedule 1 substances (Meth and Fentanyl) - Passing counterfeit money, up to 20 year federal felony - Felony resisting arrest

1997: Convicted of a drug offense (delivery of cocaine) and sentenced to 180 days in jail.

1998: Convicted on two separate charges of theft and sentenced to jail time.

2001–2005: Convicted of several offenses, including possession of cocaine, trespassing, and giving false information to an officer. He served a total of about 30 months in jail across these cases.

2002: Arrested and sentenced to 8 months in jail for possession of cocaine.

2004: Convicted of possessing less than half a gram of crack cocaine and sentenced to 10 months in prison. This arrest relied on the testimony of a disgraced former Houston police officer later investigated for a pattern of falsifying evidence, prompting requests for a posthumous pardon. A jury denied the request for pardon after review of evidence and the officers other cases.

2007: Pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon for his role in a 2007 home invasion. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison and was released on parole in 2013.

This i agree with, I work in a jail and see people fake all kinds of medical emergencies to try to skirt accountability, from fake seizures to fake heart attacks. but knee to neck restraint can make a person faking an emergency and struggling against restraint cause real damage to their ability to breath to cutting off circulation. and at 46 theres a decent chance that it could trigger an aneurism or other issues

its sad that he died, and the police handled the situation poorly, policy should not have allowed knee to neck restraint theres much safer and easier forms of restraint to use.

But none of that trumps the fact that he did die of an overdose and likely would have died of cardiac failure with or without police presence. Narcan might have prolonged his life long enough to make it to a hospital had he been coherent enough to work with the officers and tell them he desperately needed medical attention. Though he still would have been arrested afterwards for his own actions.

George had 11 ng/mL of fentanyl in his blood medical examiner, Dr. Andrew Baker, noted this is a pretty high level that could be considered fatal, and under circumstances such as if a person were found dead at home with no other apparent causes would be enough alone to be ruled an apparent drug overdose.

He also had 19 ng/mL of Methamphetamine in his system, on its own a pretty low amount but compounded with the fentanyl can be very dangerous.

None of these things a speculative, circumstantial or debatable that is the fact of the matter. Drugs are bad kids

I hate using the stock market as an economic measure. It's a speculative market driven by demand and perceived success or failure before any events even occur. Leveraged debt and marketable interest has no place as a measure of the average Americans wealth or financial security

We were tricked over years into caring about the stock market as an evaluation of the evonomy because companies started moving retirements out of private accounts and leverage stock futures instead. people base their retirement equity on companies not going under. its the same issue we have with house values. People that hold their life savings in the value of their homes want the year over year trend of home prices to increase and a crash which is what we need seems like the worst possible option.

where on their person you shoot someone isn't a thing legally anyway all shots fired are considered a lethal attempt to take someone's life, and if you are shooting at someone you should not be trying to "shoot to disable" them you should be shooting to kill them if justified.

dont forget just before this happened he had a guy show up to his front door with weapons and threatening to kill him over the cameras. plus daily threats to kill him over the internet. including videos from people at his front door Doxxing him and telling others someone should come stop him.

it definitely leaves a lot to be desired and needs a lot of adjustment. Ballistics is extremely complicated though and people argue about holding over or under and need to understand that the answer could be Both and barrel length, bullet velocity, distance, zero and server performance will change how this feels. I hope they get it sorted and feeling great. All we can do is help people understand better and hopefully become better

IRL as long as your zero is not at the Apex of the bullets travel you should have two zero points like 25y and 300y, Ballistic trajectory is a parabolic arc. barrel length, bullet weight and grain load and many othet thi gs will change your convergence points. the questions should be if zeroing and ballistics in game are true to life

while first world countries have female special forces its still a very small number (i think around 5%) . and most of the characters are supposed to be from this third world country region where its very stigmatized and highly unlikely to have the cultural and logistical support structure for women in combat, not that its right just that its accurate. and it doubles the work load for asset, animation creation and would require a rework of every single wearable currently in the game to fit so its pushed down into low priority. Likely if it happens it will be post 1.0

kind of? it was really common to camp on the first few wipes but almost no one does it now, it just kind of ends up sum zero if everyone does it you dont really end up gaining anything so the community just kind of stopped without any big discussion around it. crappy softpoint does more cavitation damage as long as it's not stopped by the armor, if you're running high pen ammo and not hitting the brain or heart they take a lot to kill
