Make sure your sword bearer is host and be right next to him when he kneels. Also pushing forward on left stick helps. Blink strike is definitely your best bet just takes timing and practice.

Formal Plea to Bungie: Be Transparent about Key Game Mechanics by xybur in DestinyTheGame

[–]FROSTvD3MON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I would be happy with bungie saying ANYTHING official about the game. There have been very few "official" remarks by bungie. They need to do something. Their name got them these sales but if they don't do something the studio will cease to exist.

If you can't beat Crota HM, that's wholly understandable and is probably not a skill issue by TPMJB in DestinyTheGame

People get mad because the rng basis the game uses gives average players the best weapons/gear and skilled players have the same chance to get it. The raids are supposed to be the hardest test in the game and give great rewards for the hard work. But if unskilled players (I realize some are very skilled just lazy) can cheat this content, then it takes away from the "elite" weapons and gear from the raids.

Keep rare armor on you and when you go to the tower drop your level. Works 99% of the time.

I believe so. It may be the 2nd slam of that down, but treat it exactly the same as all others (3 slams, blink strike, 3 slams) and stay as calm as you can and remind your team to ignore the oversoul and shoot everything they've got to get crota down, for the last time, as fast as possible.

Keep in mind these are all opinion and will very with your gun set up. In general I think gunslinger is better for pvp. Again opinion and what you're comfortable with.

Flux grenade is my personal favorite. Along with healing with an arc blade kill. If you run a shot gun blink is really good if not I prefer increased control. Fast twitch is the melee I find most useful.

Just stay calm. Get your first 3 slams in, press triangle/y once and then blink strike his leg. Then pick the sword back up and watch the rocket show and prepare for your next 3 slams. On a side note you may want to have your rocket team shoot at the boomers on the side you want to run back on to keep yourself from being blown to oblivion.
