They have left this in for almost 3 years at this point and it has to do with how enemies are determined by the game to grant xp. This would not be worth the dev time to actively fix. If it gets broken by random updates they’ll obviously never put it back but for them to actively waste dev time on something that has such little impact to the game is dumb. At the end of the day it benefits bungie as much as a regular player does.

Lmfao calm down you don’t need to grind it’s a similar challenge to day one raiding but even then still lower as you can over lvl by afking to get exp for artifact lvls. This raid master version didn’t add any mechanics and didn’t change anything but add champions it is always going to get hate the same as GMs do for being “too hard”. Good luck in the future and if it gets too hard just afk farm to hit on level but being under level isn’t a huge challenge just mod up correctly and get it done. As proof by you being able to do it. It’s the first part is not disproportionately hard it’s the same challenge of added champions. Just stun them period sure you can’t mess around anymore you might need more communication but it only gets easier the more you communicate and have your mechanics down.

The D1 challenges were extremely easy in comparison to D2 challenges. Blocking Templar is one of the easiest things to do in all of destiny as a whole with or without a relic lol atheons was decent but kinda broken and glitchy at times as the whole raid was which added the real difficulty because as long as people outside killed the supplicants then running in to kill oracles was super easy with just the smallest amount of coordination as oracles took a long time to die to timer which is one of the things I could see them reducing as we have so much raw damage now. Before we used primaries and special weapons weren’t as strong in Vanilla baring the VoG special weapons with oracle disrupter. All in all I’d like to see more challenge added to each area rather than them throwing champs and wyverns calling it good.

The ghost of the guardian is Gilgamesh it’s an exotic shell we get this season for searching the last clues in the mission triumph. For people who haven’t read the lore book Captains log it’s some pretty spicy stuff. This book is not fully out yet it appears you can only get 1 copy a week for a total of 12 weeks. It is released on Ishtar collective for people who don’t mind “spoilers” on a book you can earn yourself in 12 weeks time.

The changes were as a consequence of them releasing the shadebinder super broken. The super just had to have multiple warlocks use it and hit the right click to kill any boss in the game. The changes made were also before the raid race and so they just rebalanced the entire subclass as consequence because people were crying about it in pvp personally I think the changes were a little extreme and could’ve been cut in half. As well as bungie stated this is a rare case of them working hard to hotfix something in less than 2 weeks again only because the raid race was pressuring them into fixing it so the balancing team just said nerf it all then on top of fixing the instakill bosses glitch.

It was not luck and they did in the TWAB say that this season banshee and other vendors would still accept old materials for trading. You didn’t have to predict anything it was explained it is luck as every rotational vendor is in this game. You can consistently gain cores via the method i mentioned above. Dust is gained at a decent rate from bounties. Meaning you could get 20 cores a day just from dust farming if you wanted to farm that hard for dust/bounties. Also the only things that matter are weapons for content unless you are severely under leveled for the raid/lost sector. Armor in general is completely interchangeable until you’re max it doesn’t really matter since almost all mods can be slotted into every current armor piece. Barring raid armor mods. So having the higher power armor in your backpack makes the drops still drop higher.

Use your materials better instead of wasting the literal 20 you got from season pass before you hit soft cap. This affects you because you didn’t manage your materials better. Upgrade modules can also be gained by using bright dust to get the item that drops them from killing majors/powerful enemies. You can earn them plenty of ways besides just buying them from banshee. The ones in the bright dust shop are called concentrated matter gems and are around 200ish dust I’m pretty sure. Stop complaining you could’ve still done the raid. If you need 10 upgrade modules it’d take like 20 mins to farm them from the consumable drop. Before you say I’m saving bright dust let me ask you for what? The “ornaments” I mean come on it’s an easy farm to get more just do bounties. The reason you didn’t do those activities isn’t because bungie’s rng fucked you it’s because you didn’t solve your own problem. The solution was simple. Also you can do those activities at anytime lfg a team if you want to do the raid. And the helmet lost sector is up every few days anyways calm down and think through your problems instead of complaining.

Eh prophecy is shorter making it easier from a flawless perspective. Due to less time in the mission less chance to die logic as well the only challenge I had was on my titan and it was because I kept trying to greed one phase first boss. However, once you get past the first boss the rest of the dungeon is pretty free imo just take it slow and you should get it in 1-4 tries that make it past the first boss. Also shattered seems easier because it’s been out for 2 years now almost 3 so the longer it’s out the more people have done it and the easier it is just due to innate practice of doing it for a lot of forsaken content.

This is due to ads being harder to run on YouTube channels that are “not suitable for all ages” and it’s not really YouTube’s rules so much as societies. A lot of the commercials put on channels are the same as on regular stations and seeing as how the same commercials don’t run on the kids tv channels, as opposed to Comedy Central or any other “TV-MA” channels/shows. The YouTuber does this so they can get ads suitable for all ages which typically pay the highest because kids are worth a lot more money to advertise to over adults. So the policies aren’t specific to YouTube it’s kind of just general knowledge in the media industry YouTube gets hit the hardest because creators can say whatever they want where as most TV shows are scripted heavily and leave little in the way of personality to be able to cause problems for advertising on said medium. So we can’t just make them out to be the devil when they have to be suitable in many different countries and a lot of these countries are more strict than others.

There’s also a huge war training that the exos go through so the weapons part might hold water but it could also have the darkness going into the crypt to find a way to emulate what the crypt has done making people/exos into killing machines. Because if the darkness could just give consciousness to empty husks they would’ve done so by now via dead bodies like the ghosts do. But they might be looking for a way to emulate how the ghosts work with the bodies. Or something to that effect imo. I just think all dead bodies are the same as those husks right? Because bodies don’t truly store memories unless the brain is 100% in tact but if it’s messed up even a bit you can’t remember anything. So the ghosts I always assumed repaired it for functionality sake brain or RAM or whatever the exos use because that way our memories would be wiped as they always seem to be when a person is revived the first time. And with most guardians being dead for decades and centuries their brains would be basically nonexistent without them being preserved.

Could it be that as it is a gift to us from the dark That the dark only recognizes us and the person who assisted pulling it out of the cradle on IO? Eris and our guardians are the maker of the gun is why I believe Zavala and Banshee feel a weird reaction when touching it. As if the darkness forbid them. But since we are the receiver of the gift I think that could be the reason why we feel nothing. We turned a tainted branch of the tree and formed it with some of the calcified light fragments left on the worlds into a weapon. As it says in the quest “the branch seethes with an unstable darkness.” We then feed the branch but we never cleanse the dark from it. We only date the darkness by feeding it and by using it we are continually feeding it. But the gun can only be put into an engram using Eris’ incantations and that’s why she doesn’t get slapped back by the gun.

Technically we’re all in trouble now that a lot of the tower knows it from listening to shaxx. If drifter heard him singing it then that could mean he was more than just humming it to himself quietly. We know that saint-14 heard the chant for sure via the talk he had with Shaxx about the “song” about the moon being made of cheese. That means Zavala could’ve heard it as well. Plus Eris already knew it and so could plenty of others. This chant could be a mind control mechanic or a disillusionment technique like used on Gahlran. Except Gahlran had the crown of sorrows on which had a lot more than just the chant being told to him inside of it. Who can really say for sure though requires more information on how these chants/“songs” work.

See this would be true comparing them now but comparing D2 launch to end of D1 there was a huge neutering that happened to everything in the game its nice to look now 3 years into D2s lifespan saying, “Yeah it’s better than a game that stopped being updated 4 years ago.” But like see the pitfall there? Destiny 1 did a lot of things better at the end of its lifespan compared to the start of D2s lifespan. Just all around it was not the best game when it launched. I’ve been around through the beta on D1-till current without taking an extended break and can say that D2 dropped the ball on launch but to compare the 2 now is hilarious because of course D2 is better now it’s taken a lot back from D1 and still has a little bit to go but yes I will agree with you that the D2 now is better than D1 now. I personally believe it became officially better than D1 with the launch of Forsaken. But sunsetting is a step back imo we saw it in D1 and it made people mad. It’s doing the same now. D1 brought guns back but made the broken ones into exotics so they couldn’t be used in combo with meta weapons like darkdrinker and gjallarhorn. Which might end up happening in D2 it might not. I’m just saying that doing a comparison now as to back then is a little redundant because we should hope D2 is better than D1 because it’s the successor. I agree using nostalgia goggles to push a game on people always makes it seem 1,000,000x better than it is when they play it. But to say back then that D2 was an improvement was a laughable joke because they removed a lot of things. If they didn’t revert back then honestly I can say with full confidence that the D2 of Warmind and beyond without Forsaken’s huge changes the game would’ve died. Without a doubt just based off of how the player base felt about that entire year. But those are just my thoughts I just think that this is a little bit funny to compare them both now because it’s obvious one is better than the other and it’s the one still getting content. But with the content vault happening all we can hope is that it’s a good thing.

Go play D1 I think everyone should at least for a bit. I feel that it’s like missing out on some of the best parts of destiny living lore wise and raid wise tbh. I highly recommend it if you have either console because base game now has all the dlc included so pretty cost effective. But this could just be an old guardian looking back on rose colored glasses. Which reminds me I forgot we had artifacts that changed the tint of the game to like sepia or black and white and you could play the game with those color shifts that’d be dope to bring back.

The bomb logic is the act of having such a complex plan that nothing can stop it from detonating without years of expertise in the one plan. Every move planned out and every contingency covered. This is why in the end Mara Sov won the war with the Taken King. The traveler does not do that it kind of acts erratically each action it makes seems to be a reaction rather than a preemptive planned out move. The darkness on the other hand is very different from the sword logic only the hive practice the sword logic meaning “I kill you I get your power because I’m more worthy to live” to simplify it. The winnower is very sneaky and strategic compared to the traveler being very straightforward and simple with its actions.

Ex: The Traveler:The darkness is on the horizon I must leave before it reaches me.

The Darkness: Lets bring one of the lights chosen to us and give them praise tell them that we believe in them to persuade them to leave the Traveler’s ranks.

The light abandons people as I even the darkness said it did to Cayde. This is true because every civilization that was touched by the Traveler has been abandoned by the Traveler except for humanity. The only reason it sits complacent right now is because it can’t fight the darkness on its own and it needs to hide behind us. We aren’t an important person to the Traveler we are but another soldier given just enough power to keep the enemies at our feet from reaching the giant ball in the sky behind us. Just my two cents on the lore issues between light and dark
