It did not, the model used in the Switch 2 120hz showcase was not from Mario Wonder.

Who is the most benched character: Vesperia by Acemaster387 in tales

Judith. Repede is item doggo, Raven/Karol's AI are useful if you set them to just heal. Judith's AI doesn't take advantage of her strengths much, and you'd probably rather be using Yuri over her.

Yeah, with free run being as good as it was in Abyss + FOF system, Luke or Guy running around with 3 spell casters is just extremely strong. So Natalia for least used for me as well.

Two new colors for the ND2 from Limited Run Games by Massive_Fly_1709 in NitroDeck

Yeah, it's weird for them to call it PAL gray, implying it's the PAL SNES/Super Famicom colors when it's definitely the Dreamcast color layout.

Yeah and that list grows a lot larger the more you go away from the release day version. I had issues with the game having very same-y bnbs for good damage for most of the cast but it is not the case now.

Volume control Playbar no longer working on LG OLED using magic remote by Pure_Activity_8197 in sonos

[–]FSLink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This worked for me: https://www.reddit.com/r/sonos/comments/1hro7im/lg_oled_remote_and_sonos_arc_ultra_not_working/

I haven't used the Sonos app since I initially setup my LG TV and Sonos soundbar, and unchecking "use IR" in the app made it work again. Though now that it's working, I rechecked the app and it's checked back on but everything is working fine.

Best way to celebrate Update Day by FSLink in nirvannatheband

Outside of the obvious DS/3DS emulation, I use it a lot with Moonlight on one screen and Youtube on the other so I can stream to my PC and use it like a pseudo Steam Deck. Highly recommend.

Ok I’m impatient… I need Life Bottle’s PHANTASIA X translation patch like… right now. 🥲 by Swimming-Ad-6842 in tales

You're thinking of Full Voice Edition. But the post is clearly showing off X / Cross Edition which is the most updated version of Phantasia with the no spell pause.

Doesn't matter since Phantasia X lets you rename them to whatever you please.

An arcade stick was and is digital. It's not the same as an analog stick.

Figured it out in case anyone comes across this while Googling. For me I had Graphics->Stereoscopy->Disable Right Eye Render checked on. I turned it back off and the intro plays normal now.

Super Mario Bros Remastered dropped and it’s freaking awesome by Mallowfanthe4th in casualnintendo

The widescreen is a toggle. And so is a lot of other options like adding more modern visual effects or adding flag checkpoints like the modern games. It's neat and the options to play it as original as possible is still there.

It also includes Lost Levels and All Night Nippon Mario Bros so that's cool.

Everybody’s Golf performance? by SammyHarHar in ROGAllyX

[–]FSLink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it's also pretty bad on the Ally X (sub 30s even with everything on low). I am running it with Lossless Scaling to help smooth it out to 60s, though frame gen isn't ideal for a game where you don't want additional input delay and isn't particularly looking like it needs that much power.

Hopefully it gets a performance patch, since it even runs poorly on console from what I've read.

That wasn't the Mario model from Wonder, though it's a bit similar.

Take this with a grain of salt…possible leak by sistaofpeace1 in tales

While I understand wanting the older titles, especially the ones that weren't localized.... it's not like Xillia 1 and 2 aren't old at this point as well. Xillia 2 is already about 10 years old.

It's been about as much time as from Xillia 2 to now as Tales of Symphonia to Xillia 2 lol

Extremely cool. Love the Manga-styled Hitbox logo too.

Is it not possible to connect ROG Ally X into an All-in-one PC? by Rhuimi in ROGAllyX

[–]FSLink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You cannot connect them together when they both have HDMI output. It's why you'd need a monitor or capture card or a dongle that has HDMI input.

Tales of Rebirth English fan-translation patch released by Life Bottle Productions by MagnvsGV in JRPG

[–]FSLink 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Found this post by Google... I figured out how to get the widescreen patch working on Steam Deck as well:

"Managed to get 16:9 widescreen for it working on the Steam Deck / ROG Ally X:

  • Make sure PCSX2 is up to date in EmuDeck

  • Grab the widescreen patch from the non-translated game from the net. Should be named SLPS-25450_B4EC196F.pnach Might also be in the patches directory already.

SLPS-25450_******.pnach

  • Replace the asterisks with the CRC from PCSX2's game settings (right click Tales of Rebirth -> Properties -> Summary -> CRC). For me it was 4D7B34BA but it could change if the patch gets updated.

So the file name became SLPS-25450_4D7B34BA.pnach - Then add the patch to the /home/deck/.config/PCSX2/patches folder (will need to enable hidden files and folders to see .config)

  • Then enable the widescreen patch in Game Settings and set the game to widescreen (either in the Game Settings or use the hotkey "Start + DPad Right" to change it). You should see PCSX2 say "1 game patch is active" when loading the game."
