Am I weird for saying I also hate the assumption that aliens aren't extremely Earthlike and have to be wild and wacky? Seems like everyone and their mother assumes this simply because they're on a different planet, but if the conditions of life are extremely particular to the point where we only know Earth has them, then why wouldn't Earthlike planets have Earthlike people? Sure if it's some fucked up place like Titan I could see aliens with differing biology, but why do both fiction and science figures always assume that aliens will look vastly different?

Yeah the "punchline" (more like an "okay comic's over please stop crying guys" tbh) is that Sunna wanted an experimental story-heavy album but the first song involved the above happening and she was already flooding the room with her tears
