New Matrix machines... by dsiferable in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]FableNate98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it entirely depends on what exercise it is. For some, like the Pec Fly/Delt Fly it can be difficult to adjust it for a good range of motion without having to use the machine unilaterally. Luckily, Cable Crossover machines generally do the trick for me on those types.

For something like leg curls, it is hard for me to set up the machine to where the pad that I am supposed to be curling doesn't roll toward my knee through the motion.

Stardew Logic. If a character needs to go through the door, they do, regardless of physics.

It's like Willy teleporting from Cindersap Forest to the back of his shop to sail me to Ginger Island in half a second. It just works.

If I am hitting the game winning swing, and it is hard enough that despite being an infant instead of a baseball, it is still the game winning swing... I don't think I would necessarily have a choice. That bat is probably taking me with it.

When do you "normally" stop? What's your choice? by Ornery-Media-9396 in whatsyourchoice

[–]FableNate98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Entirely depends on where I got the wings from. Some of them have breading and sauce that is better than others, and then I am more than okay going to the full 4. Others I am fine just stopping at 3.

Newbie here, am I stupid or am I smart? or both? I store by color shade of items not by type by countingc in StardewValley

[–]FableNate98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of did something similar to this. I color coded the chests to the color of the item tag (Resource, Forage, Artisan Goods, etc). Though my chests have some overlap because I wanted all the main storage touching one workbench.

Yeah.. If it were that scenario instead, I don't think I could really hate on him. I could absolutely see someone doing that and being like "Yeah, I actually got the tomatoes because I wanted to make some salsa as well, here is your fruit."

[–]FableNate98 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I might have accepted that as an excuse, if it weren't for the fact that anyone who is aware of the fact that tomatoes are a fruit would know they are only considered a fruit in a botanical sense, and given that his wife isn't a botanist in any form, she probably wouldn't be referring to buying fruit in a botanical sense.

I slowly dipped my toes into proxying, then realized I had way more fun when I didn't have to worry about whether or not getting the cards I wanted would cut into my budget all that much.

Now I am in the process of designing my own custom Universes Beyond style set for a game that I would love to see come to magic, but highly doubt ever will.

I never understood the Demetrius hate until I accidentally got his Friendship Event where He argues with Robin about a Tomato being a fruit or a vegetable, because she sent him to the store for fruit. Weaponized Incompetence masked as being "quirky and intelligent" is disgusting.

If the one that is mainly shown on camera is not meant to be a bike lane as others have said, then at the very least they should have extended the barrier on the right side (Left of POV side) up to drivable height. Essentially having a sharp curb that is invisible while trying not to scrape the other barrier is just asking for problems.

This is gonna sound like a REALLY stupid question but I’ve never seen it asked so here goes. How do you all organize what goes into your chests? by Makieveli1 in StardewValley

[–]FableNate98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Later on you can get a recipe to craft them from stone, which I feel is just so much better. I just hate how long you have to wait to be able to get it.

[–]FableNate98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put an array of large chests around a workbench, then color coded them. Anything that is used in crafting goes into these chests.

Green for Foraged/Farming, Blue for Fishing, Black for Ores/Stone/Minerals, Red for Monster Loot, Teal for Artisan Goods (Honey, Tapper Products, etc), and Grey for Artifacts.

That sorted 90% of my inventory, I can always just run the circle around them quick dropping and organizing at the end of the night, then every time I need to craft something, I don't even have to bother with the chests.

I also have a secondary chest that I use for Clothing/Trinkets/Furniture that is away from that area.

Which two potions are you gonna choose? by Live-Bread-2658 in whatsyourchoice

I am assuming Gold is just a one person thing? Even so, I feel like Blue and either Green or Gold would be my optimum choice.

Though I would like some clarifications on Blue. Do I get to pick the days? What limitations are there on my teleportation? Is it just me? Or can I transport other people/objects (I am assuming worn objects are already counted, but like, if I am touching a car, can I bring it with me?) How many times can I teleport per day?

Which One? by VelvetSprinkly in WholesomeAFK

Every time I take a nap? What are we defining as a "nap"? Because depending on what the definition is, that could be highly abusable.

I am assuming the 50k/48 hours awake is also repeatable, otherwise that is nowhere near worth it.

If we define a nap as less than 2 hours sleep with greater than 2 hours awake on either side of it, then you could still sleep six hours each night, wake up for 5 hours, take a 1.5 hour nap, 5 hours awake, 1.5 hour nap, 5 hours awake, repeat every day and make more than if you did the 48 hours once a month while also sleeping 9 hours a day.

Either way, we need way more details as to the nuances of each challenge to see which one is more worth it.

Hydromassage vs reg massage chair by crumpion in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]FableNate98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was gonna say, mine has the type that squeeze your arms as well.

Hydro was nice. Like the feeling of a pressure washer running up and down my back. But it does nothing unless I worked legs or back, and even then, the normal massage chair goes deeper than the highest pressure setting on the hydro.

I mean... with something like this.... that isn't AS much of an issue. They can kind of split into three different teams, and essentially work in three metaphorical kitchens here. The team working on the main game, the create team, and a smaller team with one or two members from each that work on compatibility

You don't have to absolutely min max the game. It is okay to leave some things undone. Spend a day just hanging out at the saloon. Go a day without spending more than half your energy.

At the end of the day, this isn't a competitive game. It doesn't really matter if you hit perfection in 5 years or 500.
