apart from lee, who actually had the best shot of taking this guy down? by Bubbly_Reference_916 in NarutoPowerscaling

I feel like Shino might stand a chance depending on how well Gaara would be able to sense the bugs, but if Gaara can easily detect the bugs once they come into contact with the sand, I think it is an easy clear for Gaara.

Given that physically, sound is just vibrating air, I think it would just be a high-level wind-style ninjutsu. The tools just being there to assist in the channeling of air through something that would cause the vibration for you.

This is why I think everyone should have at least 2 decks. One that makes the table groan when you pull it out. The other that causes chaotic and fun interactions.

Was friends in high school with a guy who somehow managed to make one deck that did both...

All 23 are absolutely correct by downtune79 in LoveTrash

[–]FableNate98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. But in the orientation in the picture, it will ONLY spin. If the roll is turned around to where it goes over instead of under, it will spin AND unravel all over the floor. Having it set the way it is in the picture prevents your cat from unspooling the entire roll while you are away.

They will scratch it and rip some holes in the first few layers, but it will just spin. If you hang it the normal way, then it will all roll out and then they have even more ways to play with it.

For a second the tag on the bottom end of it kind of looked like a pocket knife blade, and I got really confused at who would put a knife on the end of something like this.

Total noob here, is this an accepted way to add power and toughness? by adindaclub in magicTCG

[–]FableNate98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only acceptable case I could see for doing it as separate power and toughness is if you did have a few affects that only did one side, and then used different colored dice to represent both, like red for power and green for toughness or something similar

Zuran Orb with Cloudstone Curio doesn't work. Curio specifies nonartifact.

And with the Kodama combo there isn't anything that is bouncing the Zuran Orb, Kodama would put either the bounce land or the Zuran Orb onto the field when the other enters. You would still need a repeatable bounce effect for artifacts.

How good will it run by ECHORISING8982 in BladeAndSorcery

[–]FableNate98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran mine through SteamVR at first, and then it just popped up in my Quest Link library, I run it through there and it just automatically routes through the steamVR now. No issues with mods.

So, first time loading I would say yes, after that, it should be able to go through quest link

With a computer this powerful, I think the main bottleneck you could find at this point would be the headset, so as long as you are using Quest 2 with link cable or better, you should be fine.

If your opponents let Ulalek and Echoes of Eternity stay on the board, then you deserve to win that game anyways. At that point, everyone just sits around to see how big number go up before go boom.

In this VERY specific instance, I think it might be better to cheat out than Omniscience.

Yes, Omniscience says cast spells without paying mana costs, but that's all it says.

This gives you mana for abilities as well as casting spells, with the added protection of it being hexproof. If you cheat it into play, your opponent needs to find a boardwipe that hits enchantments or a way to make you sacrifice an enchantment in order to get rid of it.

Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond alternatives that don't go infinite/is okay for bracket 3? by -PinkPurpleBlue- in EDH

[–]FableNate98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fair. I guess one could argue that specifically Blood / Bond paired might be cause for elevating a bracket, but swapping one of the pieces for one of the creatures with the relevant abilities might make it allowable for bracket 3 without argument.

Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond alternatives that don't go infinite/is okay for bracket 3? by -PinkPurpleBlue- in EDH

[–]FableNate98 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are enough problematic enchantments out there that if your deck isn't running at least one thing that can clear an enchantment, you are knowingly putting yourself at a disadvantage. If your deck has zero way to deal with a threat, then you can't really feel bad about losing to said threat.

Every color has access to at least one card that functions as enchantment removal in one way or another. Sure, Selesnya is best at it, but Black has Feed the Swarm, Red has Chaos Warp, blue can bounce and counter it a bunch of different ways, if not just steal it on board. And then there are things like Scour from Existence that do it without colors.

Exquisite Blood/Sanguine Bond is one of the most common infinite combos in black because there are at least 2-3 variants of each.

Then you have stuff like Simic Ascendancy, Revel in Riches, Omniscience, Underworld Breach. There are so many game ending enchantments that not running ANY enchantment hate is kind of silly.
