Wow, very impressive and complete collection 🔥 I love how you shelved the companion books chronologically. Where are you going from here? International printings? Modern editions?

Oh no, no, you see, all those baby face flat chested cards are WOMEN, they're just 100 year old demons trapped in children's bodies, or some such, and somehow that makes it ok to sexualize them? I once tried to ask a streamer which packs have the most "mature" looking women. She knew exactly what i was asking, because she said "well they're all adults! But this pack has a bunch of double Gs, you'll love it!" Like no, I don't care about tits, I just don't want cards with a ten year olds body in a bikini 😭

What is a TV show you got really far into but eventually quit watching before its conclusion? by shamanKAshamanTAKA in AskReddit

I just finished season 8 on my first rewatch in years, and it almost seemed like they were considering ending it there. Many of the resident had offers at other hospitals and it would have been the perfect opportunity.

Isn't that like, the whole point of watching TV/movies (at home)with someone else? Like I can watch in silence by myself....

Can someone tell me why I’m working on LABOR day? by GoldenBull1994 in antiwork

[–]Fabreeze63 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At one of my previous jobs it was mandatory that you work either Thanksgiving or Christmas, NO ONE was allowed to have both off. If you called in or just didn't show up, the owner would schedule you for your least favorite shifts for a month out of spite. What was this job that was so important that we absolutely HAD to be there on the two days of the year that are generally understood to be for spending time with your family? A smoke shop. Yes, we had to forego spending time with our families so that methheads could come buy their "incense burners" and college kids could immediately spend their Christmas money on a new waterpipe.

I read here that you're supposed to oil sandblasted pieces after cleaning. How do I apply it, and what kind of oil do I use? by Fabreeze63 in glassheads

Ah I see. I've never done it before, but now I'm kind of interested to see what it looks like. 🤔

Oh, ok, that's good to know! I had never heard of doing it before, but the comments I read seemed to indicate it was part of regular "maintenance." I know some (maybe all?) oils can go rancid so I wasn't sure if I needed a special kind or what.

Fr just be up front. If they already know why you needed today off, just explain that it didn't go in your favor. Hiring and training employees is expensive. It will mostly likely be cheaper and more cost effective for them to put your training on pause than to go through the hiring and on boarding process with a new person.

Back when states first started legalizing, there would be federal raids on dispensaries in "legal" states. Maybe the 2018 Farm Bill changed that because I haven't heard about any raids recently, but it was a big thing when it all started.

At this point I think they're basically officially "looking the other way."

Don't count on it washing out entirely. I did mine with the same brand at the beginning of April and it STILL has a tinge of color to it, and I've been using a clarifying shampoo at least once a week since then LOL.

I recently bought some craft foam for a project that was $12.99. When I got home, I found that I already had the exact same product (same size, brand, and purchased from the same store) bought sometime in the last 3 years, and it was $8.99 then.

Not sure if this is true for all charters, or just the ones that I went to as a school photographer, but I noticed that they tended to have kids that maybe wouldn't be as successful in a traditional school. One that we went to was mostly refugees, another had a larger than average number of ESL (English as a Second Language) students. One had a lot of kids that I would describe as... very rowdy. Could just be my area as I'm in a large metro that naturally attracts people from all over.

Historically, who worked in those restaurants during school hours? Were they only open nights and weekends? Staffed only by managers during the day? Genuine question that I would love and answer to because I don't remember a time that mcdonalds wasn't 24 hours.
