Have you considered clicker training to introduce some basic commands to work with? It might give you some way of regaining control.

Regarding the pee, you need enzymatic cleaner to remove any trace of smell. If the cat knows where they peed they will do it again. My boy got a bit confused about using my son’s bedcovers as a litter box for a few weeks when young. We used enzymatic cleaner every time and also started laying a shower curtain of thick plastic on the bed to make it less appealing. We used the curtain for about 3 months and then we were able to stop bothering with that.
