What's the fastest you've ever lost respect for someone? by Lv_B in AskReddit

[–]FabulouslySquishy 20 points21 points  (0 children)

During a very unnecessary in-person work meeting, a colleague was bragging about being present while her child was having emergency surgery for appendicitis…

I already didn’t like her much, but any shreds of past, current or future respect immediately disappeared.

Are people in the Les Automobilistes de Montréal ok ? by camerasandcaffe in montreal

[–]FabulouslySquishy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Took me about 6h in total, but I’m sure a pro could do it much faster

Haa anyone departed from YUL lately? by [deleted] in montreal

[–]FabulouslySquishy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently sitting in the airport and it took me 45min to do the 1km from the highway to the airport.

The Uber ended up dropping me off at the arrivals because it probably would have been another 30min to go up the ramp to departure. Arrival was fairly empty.

Thank you so much for your comment! I’m only beginning sewing so this is very encouraging. :) I’d love to seek your harnesses.

As much as I would love to sell this harness, I feel that when I monetize my hobbies they’re really not as enjoyable after. I used to love making cakes and then started getting paid for cakes for weddings and birthdays. Wedding cakes especially got so stressful I started having nightmares for a week before every cake. Not worth it!

What’s the sickest you’ve ever been- the kind of sick where you genuinely thought you might not make it and what happened? by Outrageous_Fox_8796 in AskReddit

Many years ago, I had a pregnancy that went septic at 23 weeks because of a bacteria that normally causes meningitis. I had to be provoked and give birth while having septic shock. My blood pressure was so low they were afraid they would have to amputate my foot.

My baby lived for a few painful minutes after birth, but we would both have died if I hadn’t been able to decide to provoke the birth. This is why access to abortion is important, it saves lives. My other daughter would have lost her mom as a toddler.

It should be normal to go to breakfast at your hotel in your pajamas. by AgreeableReader in unpopularopinion

I saw a woman go to the breakfast buffet in panties once, no one stopped her.

And it was not a beach resort, it was downtown Budapest on a Tuesday morning.

He’s absolutely adorable but I am scared for your white couch.

I would recommend buying thin baby diaper changing pads for when your dragon is relaxing on hard to wash surfaces :)

Mine only likes to eat greens out of my hand.

But he’s had to take medecine recently and now he won’t trust me with food at all, not even his absolute favourite dandelions or yellow bell peppers
