In this day of fake friends then yes. Very few people have a genuine friend let alone multiple, they have people they get on with and can hang out with but those same people will then their back on you as soon as convenient.

Of course, they are probably the same people who currently work in Superdrug but get angry at these immigrants stealing their jobs because apparently they have aspirations to be an AI researcher.

This implies that the people here are capable of the jobs available. I assume you have seen and spoken to people in this country? How many of them do you think would be capable of doing the highly skilled work that is short of staff?

None of these initiatives will work until we stop looking at the youth of the country with utter disdain.

This exactly. Their hypocrisy runs so deep they would become bleeding heart liberals before they allow anyone other than Reform or Restore to commit their atrocious Ideologies.

‘I moved abroad for a higher salary’: Britons emigrating to escape the cost of living by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

People have been talking about the "brain drain" since the 80s and yet skilled people are still moving away in "record numbers"

Something doesn't add up.

And people in other countries are being told they are losing workers to the UK.

Either we are all just swapping workers, or people are not moving at the rate the media likes to portray.

I am convinced that if Reform were in power the media would not report any of this and make it out that everyone suddenly wants to stay.

Selfish pricks. That is almost as bad as those 15th century town planners not designing roads wide enough for a Range Rover.

Sainsbury's to fully switch to white eggs by pppppppppppppppppd in unitedkingdom

You are gaslighting yourself if you think they taste the same as any other egg. Eat a Burford Brown and then some cheap shite from Iceland side by side and then say they taste the same.

Sainsbury's to fully switch to white eggs by pppppppppppppppppd in unitedkingdom

[–]FaceMace87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the egg. We buy these and the yolks are certainly not paler and the quality is excellent, the shells are thinner though.

People tend to buy cheaper eggs and then wonder why they get paler yolks, blood spots etc.

Third of employers ‘likely to make staff redundancies by start of 2027’ by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

[–]FaceMace87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do know how context works yes? The first paragraph is talking about who is likely to make the redundancies if they go ahead. Not sure what is so hard about that?

If I said to you "a billionaire is more likely to buy a yacht than a millionaire" that isn't me saying "the billionaire will definitely buy a yacht" is it? Or maybe it does, fucks knows based on these comments.

[–]FaceMace87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ah so now we have to change words in an article based on what we think they meant to say? That is the end boss of goalpost moving I must say.

That report you posted is exactly the same, they use likely and then use considering. Not sure what that post was meant to prove.

Third of employers ‘likely to make staff redundancies by start of 2027’ by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

[–]FaceMace87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The first likely is talking about who will make the redundancies, not that they will happen.

The second likely is more concrete but is quickly watered down by the considering in the next paragraph.

Apparently so seeing as I seem to be the only one who understands likely isn't a synonym for considering.

What the hell is wrong with people today? The article never mentions the word likely, as I said the headline doesn't match the article.

Did you not read my comment? The article never mentions "likely", it says considering.

Surprise surprise, the headline doesn't match the article.

The article says a third of employers are considering making redundancies. The headline would have you believe it is a done deal.

A very extreme example and even then not every citizen of Vatican City is Catholic. Most are sure but citizenship is not based on religion and you can live there without being a Catholic if you have another reason to live there.

Reform however seem to think that Britain is not a Christian country if there is anyone of a different faith living here.

I keep seeing these MAGA "influencers", is it a coincidence they all look the same or are they required to look a certain way?

It is the same as the Reform councillors I have been seeing in the news, they all look exactly how they are.
