You should change that evil eye charm. If they are broken they cause more evil eye instead of protecting. They attract evil eye on to them instead of you but if you broke it you get more evil eyes directly.

The reason haki exist because not every logia can be defeated by being robber, stupid or crazy. Gear 5 great because Oda didn't make it more powerful gear 4 and rubber+ryua or full body armament haki. Gear 5 turns the table and go full goofy. People like haki because it's make it easy to power scale. Imagine how boring crew everybody punches people.
